The investment carried out by Budimex includes not only a 7.6 km section of the S7 route, but also 14 km of service and access roads. In addition, the bypass is to consist of 10 bridges and 5 culverts. Construction work began in October 2017. \u201d As of today,<\/em> all excavations in the main section have been completed. <\/em> We have already completed over 1,000,000\u00a0m\u00b3 of embankments, which is about 95% of the total planned works in this area. Currently, works related to the construction of the roadway structure of the main route are underway. We are also preparing to start finishing works, including humus, erecting noise barriers and road barriers<\/em> \u2013 says Artur Popko, Vice-President of the Management Board of Budimex SA, Chief Operating Officer.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The contractor maintains the Temporary Traffic Organization at the beginning of the designed section, from the side of Warsaw, and at the end, from the side of Kielce. At the turn of August and September, traffic will be rescheduled, which will allow the section to be connected to the expressway from Radom.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Progress on all fronts<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

From the start of the works to this day, Budimex has managed to complete most of the industry works. The m.in was completed. reconstruction of high-voltage collisions, high-pressure and low-pressure gas networks, as well as the water supply network. \u2013PWe carry out advanced works as part of the construction of road drainage and drainage, as well as lighting. \u2013 says Artur Popko. <\/em>Progress can also be seen in bridge works, for which an impressive 24 thousand have already been used. m\u00b3 of concrete and over 3 million kg of steel. Work is underway on the construction of pavement covers and ramp slabs, but these are also nearing completion. Every day, in About 400 employees and 130 equipment units are involved in the implementation of the activities. \u201cThe works are going very smoothly and without any disruptions. If nothing stands in the way, we will be able to complete all the tasks necessary to complete the route before the planned deadline \u2013 adds Popko.<\/em><\/p>\n

The completion of the investment will allow the closure of the S7 expressway from Gr\u00f3jec to the border with the Ma\u0142opolskie Voivodeship, i.e. on a section of approx. 200 km, while bypassing Skar\u017cysko Kamienna. This will reduce travel time and improve traffic safety<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
