\n Nine months after the start of construction (December 2018) of the A1 motorway between the Tuszyn and Piotrk\u00f3w Trybunalski junctions (16 km), the progress of works has already exceeded 16%. This is the first section extending the current A1 going from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a towards the Silesian Voivodeship. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The general contractor is the consortium of Budimex and STRABAG.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Currently, earthworks are being carried out along the entire length of the three-lane motorway. The length of the section under construction is 16 km.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The first sections of the roadway structural layers and the reconstruction of the water supply collision have already been made, and the reconstruction of energy collisions is underway. A\u00a0new rainwater drainage system is being built. Work is underway on\u00a0the first four viaducts along the motorway and over the motorway. Work is also underway on\u00a019 out of 26 box culverts. More than 100 equipment and transport units work on\u00a0the construction site every day. A\u00a0novelty of this section of the A1 will be\u00a0a\u00a0concrete surface. After the works are carried out, drivers will have three lanes in\u00a0each direction with two carriageways and an emergency lane at\u00a0their disposal.\u00a0In\u00a0addition, from the \u201cPiotrk\u00f3w Trybunalski Zach\u00f3d\u201d \u00a0junction, drivers will gain an exit from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a towards Warsaw and\u00a0 from Warsaw towards \u0141\u00f3d\u017a.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Works on\u00a0this section began in\u00a0April 2019. The contract in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build: with the investor \u2013 the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways was signed on\u00a031 July 2018. Temporary vehicle traffic takes place on\u00a0the old part of the road. The works are scheduled to\u00a0be\u00a0completed by\u00a0the end of September 2021. The general contractor is the consortium of Budimex and Strabag. The section will be\u00a0covered by\u00a0a\u00a0seven-year contractor\u2019s warranty.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
