Budimex SA and the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 1 in\u00a0Lublin have signed a\u00a0contract for the extension of the hospital with a\u00a0new building covering m.in.\u00a0a\u00a0new operating theatre, emergency room, intensive care unit, diagnostics and laboratory facilities. Construction works in\u00a0the \u201cbuild\u201d formula will begin in\u00a0October.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0The gross value of the contract is 96.4 million. The deadline\u00a0 is 14 months. This is another large hospital facility being developed by\u00a0Budimex. Last year, the largest Polish general construction contractor completed m.in.\u00a0a\u00a0clinical hospital in\u00a0Bia\u0142ystok and the first psychiatric hospital built from scratch after World War II\u00a0in\u00a0Z\u0105bki near Warsaw and a\u00a0non-invasive medicine center in\u00a0Gda\u0144sk. The company is also currently building a\u00a0new provincial hospital in\u00a0Toru\u0144 and the Oncology Center in\u00a0Lublin itself.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The new block of the Lublin hospital will be\u00a0a\u00a0modern facility that we\u00a0will implement in\u00a0a\u00a0very short time. We\u00a0have extensive experience and know-how in\u00a0implementing high-quality medical investments<\/em> \u2013 says Dariusz Blocher \u2013 President of Budimex. \u2013 The Lublin region is dynamically investing in\u00a0its infrastructure. This translates noticeably into the development of the entire region. We\u00a0feel strongly connected to\u00a0this place. We\u00a0are present at\u00a0construction sites in\u00a0Che\u0142m and on\u00a0the S19 Via Carpatia. In\u00a0Lublin itself, we\u00a0also implement such contracts as:\u00a0 People\u2019s Park or\u00a0Revitalization of the Bi\u0142goraj City Center<\/em> \u2013 adds Dariusz Blocher.<\/p>\n

The G-16 building is designed on\u00a0eight floors (from level -1 to\u00a0level +6) with a\u00a0landing pad for rescue helicopters raised above the top floor.<\/p>\n
