\u201cI would like to thank Budimex for the careful construction and, as always, for the more than average effort to overcome all difficulties. I am glad that an investment such as a museum has been carried out by a company with a Polish and such a long tradition as Budimex<\/em> \u2013 said Minister Gli\u0144ski.<\/p>\n

\u2013 Great things always have their small beginnings. As for Budimex\u2019s projects, this building is not a large motorway or a large office building, but it was nevertheless an unusual construction for us. Because, as the previous speakers have said, it is a tangible and material beginning of the process of uncovering the history of many forgotten heroes<\/em> \u2013 said Dariusz Blocher.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom this point of view, it was an unusual construction for our company. In July 2017, we signed a contract. The renovation and reconstruction took 17 months. During this five-month period, additional works related to additional passages and accesses to buildings were carried out<\/em> \u2013 added Dariusz Blocher.<\/p>\n

Construction began in July 2017 and included the modernization and expansion of the old detention center, originally a tsarist prison from 1903. The total area of the facility is 3.5 thousandm2<\/sup> \u2013 the entire facility consists of six buildings, including two new facilities.<\/p>\n

Budimex is also involved in other key construction sites for Polish history, such as the Polish History Museum in Warsaw and the Sybir Memorial Museum in Bia\u0142ystok.<\/p>\n
