\n Jastrz\u0119bskie Zak\u0142ady Remontowe, part of the JSW Group, has signed a\u00a0contract with Budimex SA for the construction of a\u00a0complex of production and repair halls in\u00a0Suszec in\u00a0Upper Silesia. JZR\u2019s investment is the first stage of the planned construction of a\u00a0modern industrial center on\u00a0the site of the former Krupi\u0144ski mine, which JSW handed over free of charge on\u00a031 March 2017 to\u00a0Sp\u00f3\u0142ka Restrukturyzacji Kopal\u0144. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Under the contract signed on\u00a014 March in\u00a0Warsaw, Budimex will build new halls and carry out a\u00a0comprehensive expansion and modernisation of the existing production and social and office facilities with an area of over 15,000\u00a0m2. Construction works will also include the construction of: internal roads, parking lots and storage yards. The facilities will use modern energy solutions such as\u00a0photovoltaic panels and heat pumps. \u00a0The company will implement the contract in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build\u201d system, and the contract value is PLN 48.4\u00a0 million. The construction works will last until 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe signing of the contract with the general contractor marks the start of the actual implementation of the \u201cJZR Development Program\u201d, which will allow for a\u00a0significant expansion of production and repair activities and technological development of<\/em> our company<\/em> ,\u201d says Rafa\u0142 Rychter, President of the Management Board of Jastrz\u0119bskie Zak\u0142ady Remontowe.<\/p>\n

The production and repair facilities designed and constructed by\u00a0Budimex will allow Jastrz\u0119bskie Zak\u0142ady Remontowe to\u00a0develop the production of machinery and equipment for the mining sector in\u00a0Poland and abroad. JZR will produce and repair m.in.\u00a0rails of suspended railways, rollers, main pipelines, scraper conveyor routes, powered roof support sections. Thanks to\u00a0the investment, about 170 new jobs will be\u00a0created in\u00a0the commune, which will directly find employment in\u00a0JZR.<\/p>\n

\u2013The signing of the agreement between JZR and Budimex is another step in\u00a0the implementation of the company\u2019s plans included in\u00a0the\u00a0 \u201cJSW Development Strategy for 2018-2030\u201d. I\u00a0hope that this investment is just the beginning\u00a0 of the comprehensive development of the 70 hectares left after the Krupi\u0144ski mine. Our plan for the industrialization and revitalization of these areas assumes the creation of a\u00a0<\/em>a\u00a0modern industrial complex for the 21st century, which fits perfectly into the \u201cProgram for Silesia\u201d and the government program \u201cStrategy for Responsible Development<\/em>\u201d \u2013 said Daniel Ozon, President of the Management Board of Jastrz\u0119bska Sp\u00f3\u0142ka W\u0119glowa.<\/p>\n

This is a\u00a0very important contract for Budimex. JSW Group is our new client and at\u00a0the same time a\u00a0valued player on\u00a0the industrial and mining markets. We\u00a0will be\u00a0developing a\u00a0modern facility for JZR and JSW Group, along with the entire surroundings of the project. We\u00a0have extensive experience in\u00a0designing and constructing industrial investments. Over the last six months, we\u00a0have delivered two facilities of this type to\u00a0investors in\u00a0the Mazowieckie Voivodeship \u2013 a\u00a0logistics centre and a\u00a0diagnostic equipment factory. Local Silesian subcontractors will also participate to\u00a0a\u00a0large extent in\u00a0the construction of production and repair halls for JZR<\/em> \u2013 said Dariusz Blocher \u2013 President of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

Jastrz\u0119bska Sp\u00f3\u0142ka W\u0119glowa has ambitious plans related to\u00a0the revitalization of the area of the former Krupi\u0144ski mine in\u00a0Suszec. The company also wants other entities to\u00a0get involved in\u00a0this, thanks to\u00a0which a\u00a0modern industrial complex will be\u00a0built in\u00a0the post-mining areas, which will include m.in in\u00a0addition to\u00a0JZR facilities. a\u00a0factory of hydrogen cells used in\u00a0electromobility and a\u00a0modern plant for carbon fibers produced from by-products of the coke process.<\/p>\n

JSW Group is the largest producer of high-quality hard coking coal and a\u00a0significant producer of coke in\u00a0the European Union. JSW Group\u2019s core business is the production and sale of coking coal as\u00a0well as\u00a0the production and sale of coke and hydrocarbons. Coal mined by\u00a0JSW Group, mainly coking coal, is used in\u00a0Central Europe by\u00a0local steel mills owned by\u00a0international steel producers and regional utilities. The high-quality coke produced by\u00a0JSW Group is also sold on\u00a0the global market.<\/p>\n
