\n Jastrz\u0119bskie Zak\u0142ady Remontowe, part of the JSW Group, has signed a contract with Budimex SA for the construction of a complex of production and repair halls in Suszec in Upper Silesia. JZR\u2019s investment is the first stage of the planned construction of a modern industrial center on the site of the former Krupi\u0144ski mine, which JSW handed over free of charge on 31 March 2017 to Sp\u00f3\u0142ka Restrukturyzacji Kopal\u0144. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Under the contract signed on 14 March in Warsaw, Budimex will build new halls and carry out a comprehensive expansion and modernisation of the existing production and social and office facilities with an area of over 15,000\u00a0m2. Construction works will also include the construction of: internal roads, parking lots and storage yards. The facilities will use modern energy solutions such as photovoltaic panels and heat pumps. \u00a0The company will implement the contract in the \u201cdesign and build\u201d system, and the contract value is PLN 48.4\u00a0 million. The construction works will last until 2020.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe signing of the contract with the general contractor marks the start of the actual implementation of the \u201cJZR Development Program\u201d, which will allow for a significant expansion of production and repair activities and technological development of<\/em> our company<\/em> ,\u201d says Rafa\u0142 Rychter, President of the Management Board of Jastrz\u0119bskie Zak\u0142ady Remontowe.<\/p>\n

The production and repair facilities designed and constructed by Budimex will allow Jastrz\u0119bskie Zak\u0142ady Remontowe to develop the production of machinery and equipment for the mining sector in Poland and abroad. JZR will produce and repair m.in. rails of suspended railways, rollers, main pipelines, scraper conveyor routes, powered roof support sections. Thanks to the investment, about 170 new jobs will be created in the commune, which will directly find employment in JZR.<\/p>\n

\u2013The signing of the agreement between JZR and Budimex is another step in the implementation of the company\u2019s plans included in the\u00a0 \u201cJSW Development Strategy for 2018-2030\u201d. I hope that this investment is just the beginning\u00a0 of the comprehensive development of the 70 hectares left after the Krupi\u0144ski mine. Our plan for the industrialization and revitalization of these areas assumes the creation of a <\/em>a modern industrial complex for the 21st century, which fits perfectly into the \u201cProgram for Silesia\u201d and the government program \u201cStrategy for Responsible Development<\/em>\u201d \u2013 said Daniel Ozon, President of the Management Board of Jastrz\u0119bska Sp\u00f3\u0142ka W\u0119glowa.<\/p>\n

This is a very important contract for Budimex. JSW Group is our new client and at the same time a valued player on the industrial and mining markets. We will be developing a modern facility for JZR and JSW Group, along with the entire surroundings of the project. We have extensive experience in designing and constructing industrial investments. Over the last six months, we have delivered two facilities of this type to investors in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship \u2013 a logistics centre and a diagnostic equipment factory. Local Silesian subcontractors will also participate to a large extent in the construction of production and repair halls for JZR<\/em> \u2013 said Dariusz Blocher \u2013 President of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

Jastrz\u0119bska Sp\u00f3\u0142ka W\u0119glowa has ambitious plans related to the revitalization of the area of the former Krupi\u0144ski mine in Suszec. The company also wants other entities to get involved in this, thanks to which a modern industrial complex will be built in the post-mining areas, which will include m.in in addition to JZR facilities. a factory of hydrogen cells used in electromobility and a modern plant for carbon fibers produced from by-products of the coke process.<\/p>\n

JSW Group is the largest producer of high-quality hard coking coal and a significant producer of coke in the European Union. JSW Group\u2019s core business is the production and sale of coking coal as well as the production and sale of coke and hydrocarbons. Coal mined by JSW Group, mainly coking coal, is used in Central Europe by local steel mills owned by international steel producers and regional utilities. The high-quality coke produced by JSW Group is also sold on the global market.<\/p>\n
