According to the deadline included in the contract, 29 March 2019. Budimex S.A. has completed the project of extension of ul. Grygowa in Lublin. The investment is covered by a five-year warranty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a result of the works on the reconstruction of ul. Grygowa is the extension of 1.5 km of the road and the construction of new flyovers along with the entire underground and above-ground infrastructure. The newly built dual carriageway is equipped with two lanes in each direction and a traction network for trolleybuses. Budimex S.A. also built sidewalks and bicycle paths.
\u2013 One of the challenges we had to deal with was, for example, the demolition of a 750 m long viaduct. It was the longest such facility in the city, and in a very bad technical condition. Its function will now be taken over by four new flyovers built by us, two in each direction<\/em> \u2013 says Rafa\u0142 Mi\u015bkiewicz, manager of the Lublin contract. The design of the flyovers assumed the construction of walls made of reinforced soil. In total, they have 6.2 thousand. m2, including 12.5 m in height.<\/p>\n

The demolition of the old viaduct is not the only difficulty faced by Budimex S.A. Specialists. The reconstruction project ran through an urbanised district of Lublin, and work was carried out all the time on as many as 18 railway tracks, including 11 traction tracks. During the construction, rail traffic was only temporarily suspended.<\/p>\n

At the moment, the process of technical acceptance is underway. The general contractor gave a 5-year warranty for its execution. Extension of ul. Grygowa was commissioned by the Roads and Bridges Authority in Lublin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n
