Parent Zone. Budimex for Children<\/em><\/strong> is a\u00a0nationwide social program aimed at\u00a0providing sick children and their caregivers with a\u00a0comfortable place to\u00a0spend time together. 29. The zone was created in\u00a0the Neonatology Clinic and the Obstetrics Clinic of the CMN.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0Gda\u0144sk, Budimex leaves behind not only a\u00a0modern medical complex, of which it was the general contractor, but also a\u00a0unique place for parents and guardians of sick children. We\u00a0always want to\u00a0be\u00a0close to\u00a0the local community, not only by\u00a0implementing new investments, but also by\u00a0responding to\u00a0its other needs. Research shows that children recover much faster when they can be\u00a0close to\u00a0their caregivers throughout the treatment period, and our Parent Zones provide such an opportunity,<\/em> emphasizes Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0the Obstetrics Clinic and the Neonatology Clinic, two Parent Zones have been separated. The first one is conducive to\u00a0visits in\u00a0a\u00a0larger group, which is why the space has been separated into spheres for family meetings. Calm colors dominate here, inspired by\u00a0natural wood and blue sky. The second zone is intended for more intimate meetings and is equipped with comfortable armchairs and sofas. The designs fit perfectly into the d\u00e9cor of the medical complex. Traditionally, in\u00a0both zones, there are also play areas for children visiting their siblings. In\u00a0addition, at\u00a0the request of the hospital, Budimex funded 3 kangaroo chairs, which were placed in\u00a0the Neonatal ICU. This is where parents spend a\u00a0lot of time watching over the sickest babies. In\u00a0the neonatology ward, the closeness of the toddler and the\u00a0 parent is of great importance. It is an ideal place to\u00a0create a\u00a0friendly and cozy Parent Zone<\/em>, <\/em>admitted Katarzyna W\u00f3jcik, Expert on\u00a0Budimex communication.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0try to\u00a0make our patients stay in\u00a0the most comfortable conditions possible. We\u00a0are grateful for all the initiatives that help us in\u00a0this action. We\u00a0would like to\u00a0thank Budimex for arranging these beautiful, cosy spaces<\/em>, said Arkadiusz Lendzion, Deputy Director-General for administrative and technical tasks of the UCC. The opening of the Gda\u0144sk Parent Zone was attended by\u00a0representatives of the hospital, Budimex employees, the media and the Ambassador of the Programme, Dariusz Wardziak, known from TV programmes as\u00a0Darek Stolarz. Especially for this Zone, he\u00a0created and installed an interactive whiteboard for children. As\u00a0always, she is very enthusiastic about her participation in\u00a0the program. The Parent Zone is a\u00a0program that makes sense and\u00a0 really helps young patients and their caregivers go\u00a0through the disease. I\u00a0believe that we\u00a0give them the strength to\u00a0fight. I\u00a0myself get a\u00a0lot in\u00a0return. After each opening, I\u00a0come back home, I\u00a0am\u00a0motivated to\u00a0act and I\u00a0believe that it is worth changing\u00a0the world<\/em>, emphasizes Darek Wardziak.<\/p>\n

And this time, the opening of the Zone could not be\u00a0complete without volunteers from Budimex. Over 20 employees of the company came to\u00a0Gda\u0144sk to\u00a0help with the final arrangement works. In\u00a0addition, with the money collected among their colleagues, they bought colorful wooden toys.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
