\n 30. the jubilee Parent Zone is now open!<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children\u201d<\/em> is a\u00a0nationwide social program aimed at\u00a0providing sick children and their caregivers with a\u00a0comfortable and aesthetic place to\u00a0spend time together. 30. The zone was established in\u00a0<\/strong>
\n the children\u2019s hospital SP ZOZ of the Municipal Hospital Complex in\u00a0Chorz\u00f3w at\u00a0ul.\u00a0Truchana. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

\u2013 <\/em>The opening of the Parent Zone in\u00a0Chorz\u00f3w is a\u00a0special event for us and a\u00a0kind of anniversary, because it is the 30th hospital with such a\u00a0place, arranged and implemented by\u00a0Budimex. Our program is a\u00a0response to\u00a0the real problems faced by\u00a0Polish hospitals, which lack friendly and comfortable spaces where parents and children could spend time together, forgetting about the hardships of the disease for a\u00a0moment. After 6 years of the program\u2019s existence and analyzing the functioning of the previously opened Zones, it can be\u00a0safely said that it really contributes to\u00a0changing the conditions in\u00a0pediatric wards throughout the country.<\/em> \u2013 <\/em>emphasizes Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0the hospital at\u00a0ul.\u00a0A\u00a0space has been created where parents will be\u00a0able to\u00a0relax on\u00a0soft sofas, talk and meet with their families. In\u00a0the part intended for children, there is a\u00a0colorful slide with a\u00a0cozy hiding place and a\u00a0place for drawing or\u00a0stacking blocks. In\u00a0addition, for the first time in\u00a0the history of the program, \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for children<\/strong>\u201d An outdoor playground was funded. In\u00a0the inner courtyard of the hospital, through which the escape route ran and was\u00a0 previously inaccessible to\u00a0patients, a\u00a0sandpit, swings and greenery appeared.\u00a0We\u00a0are very happy that Budimex not only funded the internal Parent Zone, but also responded so openly to\u00a0our request and developed the previously unused courtyard. We\u00a0dreamed of a\u00a0space where children and their guardians would be\u00a0able to\u00a0go\u00a0out and spend time outdoors at\u00a0least for a\u00a0moment. I\u00a0think that this place will serve many of our patients\u201d \u2013 <\/em>said Dr. Jerzy Szarfanowicz, General Director of the Municipal Hospital Complex in\u00a0Chorz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n

The official opening of the Parent Zone took place on\u00a0June 13. Traditionally, Budimex volunteers helped with the last works, taking care of important details: they laid grass from a\u00a0roll, hung pictures and cleaned up the remains of the renovation. In\u00a0addition, they donated toys that they bought thanks to\u00a0a\u00a0collection carried out among their colleagues.<\/p>\n

However, the volunteers were not alone. They were supported in\u00a0their work by\u00a0the Program Ambassador \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children\u201d <\/strong>actress Agnieszka Grochowska. \u2013 That\u2019s it <\/em> 30 Zone. I\u2019ve been an Ambassador of the program since 2013 and I\u00a0really don\u2019t know when it flew by! I\u00a0participate in\u00a0openings as\u00a0soon as\u00a0my\u00a0professional duties allow it, because I\u00a0wholeheartedly support such initiatives. The Parent Zone helps children and their parents go\u00a0through the difficult time of illness. I\u00a0hope that soon we\u00a0will celebrate another, maybe 50th anniversary. \u2013 <\/em>Agnieszka Grochowska did not hide her satisfaction.<\/p>\n

After the joint work, the official opening took place, which was attended by:\u00a0 Deputy Mayor of the City Mariola Roleder, hospital authorities, special guests, patients with caregivers and the media. In\u00a0addition, Leszek Naziemiec \u2013 Silesian winter swimming champion, coach and children\u2019s physiotherapist raised the topic of the upcoming holidays and the problem of the safety of the youngest while relaxing by\u00a0the water.<\/p>\n

\n Budimex for children. Parent Zone<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Creating more comfortable conditions for parents of sick children to\u00a0stay with their children in\u00a0hospital, and thus improving the well-being of children and facilitating their faster recovery is the main objective of the \u201cParent Zone\u201d social programme implemented by\u00a0Budimex SA. As\u00a0part of the program, special zones for parents are separated in\u00a0children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals. Depending on\u00a0the needs and conditions in\u00a0individual facilities, it may be\u00a0arranging an unused room or\u00a0a\u00a0fragment of a\u00a0corridor, equipping the hospital with an appropriate number of folding beds or\u00a0sanitary facilities, or\u00a0organizing a\u00a0place to\u00a0rest and play with children. The main objectives of the Parent Zone programme are: to\u00a0provide sick children staying in\u00a0hospital with as\u00a0long contact with their parents as\u00a0possible, to\u00a0reduce stress caused by\u00a0isolation and lack of contact with parents, to\u00a0publicise the problem of limited contact between parents and children in\u00a0paediatric wards and to\u00a0reduce the time of children\u2019s stay in\u00a0hospitals. The honorary ambassadors of the program are actress Agnieszka Grochowska and Dariusz Wardziak, known as\u00a0Darek Stolarz in\u00a0TV programs.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
