\n Budimex SA has completed over 25 km of road <\/strong><\/p>\n

of the S17 dual carriageway expressway together with the accompanying infrastructure and engineering structures on\u00a0the Garwolin \u2013 Kur\u00f3w route. The investment was carried out for the General Directorate for Roads and Motorways. The works resulted in\u00a0the creation of m.in on\u00a0this route. three road junctions \u2013 G\u00f3rzno, Go\u0144czyce and Trojan\u00f3w, and two Motorway Service Areas. On\u00a0both completed sections, a\u00a0total of approx. 328 thousand tons of cement concrete, approx. 155 thousand tons of bituminous masses and approx. 3 million tons of embankments. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Works on\u00a0both sections began in\u00a0March 2017. and were carried out in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build\u201d mode. The road is made in\u00a0concrete surface technology. The scale of the investment is evidenced by\u00a0the numbers associated with it. Only in\u00a0the case of the first task, the work was carried out with the use of 90 hardware units. Thanks to\u00a0the construction of this section and the neighbouring ones by\u00a0other general contractors, the S17 expressway is already fully ready from Garwolin to\u00a0Lublin, i.e. for nearly 70% of the entire route <\/em>\u2013 says Dariusz Blocher, President of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

\n Section 1 \u2013 one kilometre of road in\u00a0a\u00a09.5 m deep trench<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The over 12-kilometre section of the road from Garwolin to\u00a0Go\u0144czyce has 45 ecological and hydrological-ecological culverts, two bridges and 6 road viaducts. \u2013 We\u00a0have also built two road junctions. The first of them, called G\u00f3rzno, will replace the current intersection with the county road, while the Go\u0144czyce junction is intended to\u00a0connect the provincial road with the S17 expressway<\/em> \u2013 says Jakub Drozdowski, Regional Director of Budimex SA. A\u00a0kilometre of road in\u00a0this section will run in\u00a0a\u00a0trench 9.5 m deep. \u2013 Its volume is equal to\u00a0323 thousandm3<\/sup>. This required choosing approx. 613 thousand tons of land, which in\u00a0terms of trucks is equivalent to\u00a0making approx. 24 thousand Courses <\/em>\u2013 adds Jakub Drozdowski. At\u00a0the section between Garwolin and Go\u0144czyce, the Road Maintenance Circuit, which includes m.in, was also erected. a\u00a0workshop and garage building or\u00a0a\u00a0warehouse, housing approx. 30 tons of road salt.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Section 2 with an 82-metre viaduct<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The road investment located in\u00a0the Garwolin district, in\u00a0the municipalities of Sobolew and Trojan\u00f3w, is over 13 km long, and on\u00a0its route there is the Trojan\u00f3w junction and two Motorway Service Areas, named MSA Wola Korycka and MSA Mrok\u00f3w. As\u00a0in\u00a0the case of section 1, also in\u00a0this project, a\u00a0section of the road runs in\u00a0a\u00a0trench. Its depth is 13 m. \u2013 The longest structure of this section is the four-span WD-34 road viaduct, under which the main route S17 and two parallel roads run. The viaduct measures over 82 m <\/em>\u2013 says Jakub Drozdowski.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The construction of the S17 expressway is aimed at\u00a0better communication of eastern Polish and ensuring the free movement of people, goods and services, not only between the Mazowieckie and Lubelskie voivodeships, but also outside the country.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
