On\u00a013 April 2016, Budimex signed a\u00a0contract with the Pozna\u0144 Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the design and construction of the S5 Pozna\u0144 \u2013 Wroc\u0142aw road, Wronczyn \u2013 Ko\u015bcian Po\u0142udnie section. The contract has a\u00a0net value of PLN 291.9 million.<\/p>\n

The scope of work includes the construction of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • 18.9-kilometer section of the expressway;<\/li>\n
  • 22 engineering structures;<\/li>\n
  • 2 road junctions: Czempin \u2013 at\u00a0the intersection of the S5 expressway with the national road No. 5 and Ko\u015bcian P\u00f3\u0142noc \u2013 at\u00a0the intersection of the S5 expressway with a\u00a0connector to\u00a0the existing national road No. 5;<\/li>\n
  • the \u201cKokorzyn\u201d and \u201cSierakowo\u201d service areas;<\/li>\n
  • access and technological roads;<\/li>\n
  • environmental protection equipment (culverts, animal crossings), traffic safety (barriers), as\u00a0well as\u00a0lighting and marking of the expressway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Budimex will complete this investment within 32 months. Winter periods (from 15 December to\u00a015 March) will not be\u00a0included in\u00a0the implementation time.<\/p>\n
