\n The car park at\u00a0the Centennial Hall in\u00a0Wroc\u0142aw has been awarded the European Standard Parking Award (ESPA). This is the most prestigious award in\u00a0the parking industry. <\/strong>
\n The investment was designed and executed as\u00a0part of a\u00a0public-private partnership (PPP) by\u00a0Budimex Parking Wroc\u0142aw \u2013 a\u00a0company owned by\u00a0Budimex SA. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The ESPA Awards were established by\u00a0the European Parking Association (EPA) to\u00a0improve the quality of service provided to\u00a0customers by\u00a0the parking industry. Winning the award depended on\u00a0the assessment of the following elements of the investment: lighting, entrance\/exit, parking area, pedestrian routes, ramps, signposts, devices guaranteeing safety and comfort of use. The award ceremony took place on\u00a0September 16 during the first International Parking Seminar in\u00a0Krakow. The awards were presented by\u00a0the Polish Parking Industry Organization \u2013 the EPA\u2019s representative in\u00a0Poland. Budimex Parking Wroc\u0142aw was represented by\u00a0its President \u2013 Jerzy Angrocki and Member of the Management Board \u2013 Zbigniew Kamecki.<\/p>\n

\u2013 We\u00a0are honoured that our project, which was created in\u00a0the public-private partnership formula, has been awarded such a\u00a0prestigious award. Especially since we\u00a0were the first to\u00a0climb it in\u00a0Poland. \u2013 <\/em>President Angrocki does not hide his satisfaction.<\/p>\n

ESPA is awarded to\u00a0multi-storey public car parks that meet a\u00a0number of quality requirements. The European Parking Standards guarantee customers comfort and safety of parking.<\/p>\n

The Wroc\u0142aw car park is part of the global trend of moving parked cars from the streets and city centres to\u00a0a\u00a0specially created parking infrastructure. On\u00a0its three levels there are 792 places, including 9 for the disabled and 20 for coaches. It is adjacent to\u00a0the historic Centennial Hall, which allowed the exhibition areas around it to\u00a0be\u00a0freed from cars. It is one of the few projects in\u00a0Poland and the first in\u00a0the Budimex Group implemented as\u00a0part of a\u00a0public-private partnership. Budimex Parking Wroc\u0142aw, owned by\u00a0Budimex SA, designed, executed and financed the implementation of the investment on\u00a0behalf of Wroc\u0142awskie Przedsi\u0119biorstwo Hali Ludowej Sp. z\u00a0o.o. and will be\u00a0its operator until the end of the concession agreement, i.e. on\u00a0August 31, 2042.
