\n Budimex, in\u00a0a\u00a0consortium with Ferrovial Agroman SA, will implement one of the most important investments in\u00a0Krak\u00f3w in\u00a0the coming years \u2013 the \u0141agiewnicka Route. Today, the investor concluded agreements with the European Investment Bank and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for the financing of the road project.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The contract with Trasa \u0141agiewnicka SA was signed by\u00a0the consortium on\u00a017 March 2017. Its gross value is PLN 802 million.<\/p>\n

The construction of the \u0141agiewnicka Route will run from the intersection with ul.\u00a0Grota \u2013 Roweckiego to\u00a0the intersection with ul.\u00a0Beskidzka and from ul.\u00a0Halszki. It is a\u00a03.5 km long section. The project will also include the construction of a\u00a02.5 km tram road. The route will connect the Ruczaj housing estate and ul.\u00a0Zakopia\u0144ska with the Wola Duchacka and Kurdwan\u00f3w estates. Budimex will implement the investment in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build\u201d formula.<\/p>\n

\u2013 The \u0141agiewnicka Route is one of the most important investments in\u00a0Krakow in\u00a0the coming years. Its key element is a\u00a0tram line that will connect the Kurdwan\u00f3w housing estate with ul.\u00a0Zakopane. What is very important, the implementation of the \u0141agiewnicka Route opens the way for the construction of the western section of the so-called the third ring road of Krak\u00f3w with the Pychowice and Zwierzyniecka routes. The project will contribute to\u00a0relieving traffic in\u00a0the area of the very center of Krakow \u2013 including the area of Trzech Wieszcz\u00f3w Avenue, it will enable the takeover of inter-district traffic from the center, which will translate into a\u00a0reduction in\u00a0exhaust emissions. That is why I\u00a0am\u00a0glad that such an important investment for the residents of Krakow can count on\u00a0the support of central institutions, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the European Investment Bank. I\u00a0believe that cooperation in\u00a0the implementation of the investment program of Krakow with both the government of the Republic of Poland and international financial institutions will be\u00a0continued,\u201d <\/em>emphasized Jacek Majchrowki, Mayor of Krakow. <\/p>\n

Project scope:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • construction of a\u00a0dual carriageway street with a\u00a0length of approx. 3,500 m, with roadway widths of 2\u00d77.0m and 2\u00d710.5m,<\/li>\n
  • construction of engineering structures, including tunnels leading the main roadways of the route under intersections, a\u00a0single-family housing estate and an area of post-production waste settling tanks of the former Solvay plant, the so-called \u201cConstruction of Waste Settlements\u201d. \u201cWhite Seas\u201d,<\/li>\n
  • construction and reconstruction of the tram line along with the reconstruction of the track at\u00a0the tram terminus,<\/li>\n
  • reconstruction and extension of ul.\u00a0Zakopane,<\/li>\n
  • reconstruction of the railway line,<\/li>\n
  • relocation of the Wilga River bed,<\/li>\n
  • development of above-ground areas (places above tunnels and within the course of the investment), i.e. plantings, a\u00a0multi-generational Jordan garden in\u00a0the theme of the \u201cDragon Square\u201d, park-like development, a\u00a0sports and recreation complex, pedestrian and bicycle paths,<\/li>\n
  • construction of a\u00a0cubature facility (the main control building of the CZTO Third Ring Road Management Centre),<\/li>\n
  • construction of technical equipment for tunnels,<\/li>\n
  • construction of road and tunnel drainage,<\/li>\n
  • reconstruction and construction of equipment and networks of the existing under- and above-ground infrastructure,<\/li>\n
  • planting greenery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
