\n On\u00a09 December, the Western Bypass of Lublin was officially opened as\u00a0part of the S19 expressway. The new road built by\u00a0Budimex allows Lublin to\u00a0bypass from the west. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the contract, Budimex built a\u00a0section with a\u00a0length of approx. 9.8 km. The western bypass starts from the Lublin S\u0142awinek junction built at\u00a0the intersection of S12, S17 and S19 and ends at\u00a0the connection with the existing DK19 in\u00a0Konopnica. Two junctions were also built: Lublin Szeroka at\u00a0the intersection with the provincial road 830 and Lublin W\u0119glin at\u00a0the intersection with the rebuilt section of the provincial road 747.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest challenges during the implementation of this contract was the construction of the WK-6 railway viaduct. The original design envisaged the construction of the WK-6 railway viaduct in\u00a0the form of one span in\u00a0the form of a\u00a0Langer arch, which resulted in\u00a0the exclusion of one of the tracks from service (alternately) for a\u00a0period of at\u00a0least one year. In\u00a0order to\u00a0shorten this period, we\u00a0proposed to\u00a0change the structure of the structure and the construction technology, i.e. to\u00a0build a\u00a0viaduct in\u00a0the form of a\u00a0double-nave reinforced concrete frame, with a\u00a0separate structure for each track, and the construction technology, consisting in\u00a0sliding the structure. This shortened the period of shutdown of 1 track to\u00a02 weeks<\/em>. \u2013 says Rafa\u0142 Mi\u015bkiewicz, Contract Director.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the works carried out in\u00a0the period from 29.10.2014 to\u00a029.11.2016, m.in were carried out. 2 roadways of the S19 road (a\u00a0section of the Lublin bypass) with a\u00a0reserve of land for a\u00a03rd lane, 2 road junctions, 2 viaducts within the S19, 6 viaducts along transverse roads, a\u00a0railway viaduct within railway line No. 7, a\u00a0utility crossing, a\u00a0pedestrian and bicycle bridge and an animal crossing. In\u00a0addition, provincial, district and local roads were rebuilt and elements of accompanying infrastructure were made.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
