\n Budimex SA, in\u00a0a\u00a0consortium with Mostostal Krak\u00f3w SA, is constructing a\u00a0DN 1000 MOP 8.4 MPa high-pressure gas pipeline on\u00a0the section ZZU Czesz\u00f3w \u2013 Kie\u0142cz\u00f3w junction, together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation. This is the first contract of this type in\u00a0the history of Budimex.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Last year, Budimex was the only company from outside the gas sector to\u00a0successfully pass all the pre-qualifications announced by\u00a0GAZ SYSTEM S.A., obtain a\u00a0number of certificates and submit the most advantageous bid in\u00a0the tender, which allowed the company to\u00a0appear on\u00a0the gas fuel market.<\/p>\n

The construction of the gas pipeline started in\u00a0February, and today the installation of a\u00a0section of the DN 1000 gas pipeline with a\u00a0length of 1000 km has begun. 550 m by\u00a0horizontal directional drilling. The gas pipeline with a\u00a0diameter of 1000 mm will be\u00a032.5 km long and will run through agricultural, forested and partly urbanized areas.<\/p>\n

The scope of the contract with GAZ SYSTEM S.A. covers the construction of a\u00a0DN 1000 mm high-pressure gas pipeline with an operating pressure of 8.4 MPa in\u00a0the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is made of steel pipes. L485 MB with wall thicknesses of 14.2 mm and 22.2 mm. The project also includes the construction of linear shut-off and relief units with bypass systems in\u00a0the area of Mi\u0142onowice and in\u00a0the area of the Kie\u0142cz\u00f3w junction.<\/p>\n

The consortium will make 28 trenchless crossings over terrain obstacles using jacking and microtunneling in\u00a0DN 1200 and DN 1400 casing pipes and 2 crossings of valuable natural areas using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) with a\u00a0total length of 1250 m. The scope of the project also includes gasification and commissioning of the gas pipeline.<\/p>\n

Budimex, as\u00a0the Contractor, has already carried out tree felling in\u00a0accordance with the environmental decision, sapper surveys of the area along the entire length of the gas pipeline and is responsible for archaeological research and supervision.<\/p>\n

The net value of the contract is PLN 63.79 million, and the completion date is 19 months.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
