\n This Thursday, Budimex will construct a\u00a0prototype section of the road surface in\u00a0connection with the implementation of the project entitled: \u201cReclaimed asphalt: Innovative technology of mineral and asphalt mixtures using recycled materials of asphalt surface\u201d (InnGA).<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The project is implemented by\u00a0a\u00a0consortium consisting of the Road and Bridge Research Institute, the Warsaw University of Technology and Budimex S.A. and is co-financed by\u00a0the National Centre for Research and Development under the European Regional Development Fund \u2013 Innovative Economy. The aim of the project is, among other things, to\u00a0demonstrate that the production of MMA with asphalt granules in\u00a0quantities greater than permitted by\u00a0the current regulations is technologically justified. It is also planned to\u00a0modify the tooling of the mma plant so that it is possible to\u00a0dose the processed asphalt reclaimed asphalt in\u00a0accordance with the new technology.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the research project, the construction of separate road sections is planned, where it is planned to\u00a0use mineral and asphalt mixtures for the binding course and the substructure with a\u00a050% share of asphalt granules and a\u00a030% share of asphalt granules from the old SMA wearing course to\u00a0the new wearing course, also made in\u00a0the mastic-grit mixture (SMA) technology.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the project, Budimex will construct two prototype sections of the pavement.<\/p>\n

The first section<\/strong> will be\u00a0made on\u00a0the municipal road along Kielecka Street in\u00a0J\u0119drzej\u00f3w. The width of the roadway at\u00a0this point is 7 m and the length is approx. 450 m. It is planned to\u00a0make a\u00a0bituminous base layer with a\u00a0thickness of 7 cm\u00a0(550 tons), a\u00a0binding course with a\u00a0thickness of 5 cm\u00a0(390 tons) and a\u00a0wearing course with a\u00a0thickness of 4 cm\u00a0(320 tons) for the renovation of the pavement. The works are scheduled for 29-30.06.2017.<\/p>\n

The second section<\/strong> of DK 78, the section from the town of Nag\u0142owice to\u00a0the Orlen Station, over a\u00a0length of approx. 1 km, managed by\u00a0GDDKiA Kielce Branch, J\u0119drzej\u00f3w Region. The works are scheduled for 13-14.07.2017.<\/p>\n

\n The mixture built in\u00a0the prototype sections will be\u00a0produced in\u00a0Budimex\u2019s unique 2-drum bituminous mass plant located in\u00a0Potok Ma\u0142y near J\u0119drzej\u00f3w.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Further development work will concern the development of procedures and production requirements on\u00a0the example of a\u00a0trial series and monitoring of the laid prototype section.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
