\n Budimex has signed contracts with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Szczecin Branch, for the construction of two sections of the S3 expressway. On\u00a0behalf of the company, the contract was signed by\u00a0the President of the Management Board, Dariusz Blocher.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

As\u00a0part of the task: Construction of the S3 road on\u00a0the Mi\u0119kowo \u2013 end of the Brzoz\u00f3w bypass along with the extension of the Mi\u0119kowo \u2013 Rz\u0119\u015bnica section, Budimex will adapt national road No. 3 to\u00a0the parameters of the expressway on\u00a0the Brzozowo \u2013 Mi\u0119kowo section with the construction of the Brzoz\u00f3w bypass and on\u00a0the Mi\u0119kowo section (end of the Brzozowo bypass). Mi\u0119kowa) \u2013 Rz\u0119\u015bnica (Rz\u0119\u015bnica junction with a\u00a0junction). The contract is implemented in\u00a0the \u201cdesign and build\u201d system.<\/p>\n

The first of the tasks, Brzozowo \u2013 Mi\u0119kowo, covers a\u00a0section of 22.4 km. The construction of the S3 road runs mainly through forest areas. The contract will include: viaducts, animal crossings at\u00a0the top, drainage culverts with the function of an animal crossing, a\u00a0bridge with the function of animal crossing) and junctions: Brzozowo, Przybiern\u00f3w, Babigoszcz and service areas.<\/p>\n

The value of the contract for the construction of the Brzozowo \u2013 Mi\u0119kowo section is PLN 293.13 million net.<\/p>\n

The second task will require the extension of the existing S3 road on\u00a0the section from the Mi\u0119k\u00f3w bypass, from the Goleni\u00f3w P\u00f3\u0142noc junction to\u00a0the Rz\u0119\u015bnica junction, where the road needs to\u00a0be\u00a0adapted to\u00a0the current parameters of the expressway. This is a\u00a03.8 km long section. The Kliniska road junction will be\u00a0built, and the Rz\u0119\u015bnica junction at\u00a0the junction of the S3 road with DW-142 will be\u00a0rebuilt. The existing forest car parks and exits to\u00a0the forest will be\u00a0liquidated, animal crossings and fences will be\u00a0created to\u00a0prevent the intrusion of animals onto the road. A\u00a0total of 5 engineering structures will be\u00a0built (2 upper passages for animals, a\u00a0viaduct at\u00a0the Kliniska junction and at\u00a0the Rz\u0119\u015bnica junction and a\u00a0footbridge), in\u00a0addition, the existing structure on\u00a0the Ina River will be\u00a0adapted as\u00a0a\u00a0structure serving as\u00a0a\u00a0passage for animals.<\/p>\n

The value of the contract for the construction of the Mi\u0119kowo \u2013 Rz\u0119\u015bnica section is PLN 102.66 million net.<\/p>\n

The Brzozowo \u2013 Rz\u0119\u015bnica section is part of the northern section of DK No. 3, connecting Szczecin and the south of Polish with the sea coast and the ferry terminal in\u00a0\u015awinouj\u015bcie.<\/p>\n

The deadline for the completion of works for both sections is 34 months from the date of conclusion of the contract along with obtaining the occupancy permit. The time covered by\u00a0the design includes winter periods (i.e. from 15 December to\u00a015 March).
