\n \u201d is a nationwide social program, implemented for over
5 years in children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals. \u201cAll for the good of children\u201d \u2013 this is the idea behind the organiser, Budimex SA, in its implementation. By creating and providing special conditions for parents, such as social rooms, kitchen facilities, bathrooms, beds, young patients have the opportunity to contact their parents for as long as possible. And this has a beneficial effect on the accelerated healing process and quick recovery.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Parent Spheres<\/strong> are most often corridor recesses of hospital wards, unused rooms or rooms assigned for this purpose. The interiors are arranged, renovated and equipped
with the right furniture so that children and their parents can spend more time together. So far, Parent Zones have already been established in 23 cities,<\/strong> most recently in Suwa\u0142ki, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Siedlce, Biskupiec and Warsaw.<\/p>\n

The District Hospital im. Dr. J. Rostek in Racib\u00f3rz <\/strong> is already the XXVI institution where the program will be implemented \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children<\/strong>\u201d. A new common room will be built in the Paediatric Ward<\/strong> , which will be equipped with comfortable and functional furniture. The floor will be replaced, the walls will be repainted and decorated, and there will be separate zones for play and relaxation
In a friendly environment, children and their caregivers will be able to spend time together during this difficult period of treatment.<\/p>\n

The hospital in Racib\u00f3rz is the only hospital in the city, about 1500 young patients are admitted to the pediatric ward every year. Children from infants to 18 years of age are treated here. For several months, the Department has been headed by Jacek Micu\u0142a, MD, whose goal is to provide children from the Racib\u00f3rz district with comprehensive diagnostics and treatment. The new head of the department focuses on the development of the ward and modernity, also understood as a friendly and family approach to the patient.<\/p>\n

The Parent Zone in Racib\u00f3rz will be opened at the end of August this year, and Budimex employees will join in the work, volunteering to help during the last finishing works.
In addition to Budimex volunteers, the campaign has been attended from the very beginning by the honorary ambassador of the programme \u2013 Agnieszka Grochowska<\/strong>, a popular actress, known for her roles in the films \u201cWa\u0142\u0119sa\u201d and \u201cStrange Heaven\u201d.<\/p>\n

More children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals are already waiting for their Parent Zone.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Budimex for children. Parent Zone<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Creating more comfortable conditions for parents of sick children to stay with their children in hospital, and thus improving the well-being of children and facilitating their faster recovery is the main objective of the \u201cParent Zone\u201d social programme implemented by Budimex SA.
As part of the program, special zones for parents are separated in children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals.
Depending on the needs and conditions in individual facilities, it may be arranging an unused room or a fragment of a corridor, equipping the hospital with an appropriate number of folding beds or sanitary facilities, or organizing a place to rest and play with children. The main objectives of the Parent Zone program are: to provide sick children staying in hospital with their parents for as long as possible, to reduce stress caused by isolation and lack of contact
with the parent, publicizing the problem of limited contact between parents and children in pediatric wards and a real reduction in the time of children\u2019s stay in hospitals.<\/p>\n
