\n \u201d is a\u00a0nationwide social program, implemented for over
5 years in\u00a0children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals. \u201cAll for the good of children\u201d \u2013 this is the idea behind the organiser, Budimex SA, in\u00a0its implementation. By\u00a0creating and providing special conditions for parents, such as\u00a0social rooms, kitchen facilities, bathrooms, beds, young patients have the opportunity to\u00a0contact their parents for as\u00a0long as\u00a0possible. And this has a\u00a0beneficial effect on\u00a0the accelerated healing process and quick recovery.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Parent Spheres<\/strong> are most often corridor recesses of hospital wards, unused rooms or\u00a0rooms assigned for this purpose. The interiors are arranged, renovated and equipped
with the right furniture so that children and their parents can spend more time together. So far, Parent Zones have already been established in\u00a023 cities,<\/strong> most recently in\u00a0Suwa\u0142ki, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Siedlce, Biskupiec and Warsaw.<\/p>\n

The District Hospital im.\u00a0Dr. J. Rostek in\u00a0Racib\u00f3rz <\/strong> is already the XXVI institution where the program will be\u00a0implemented \u201cParent Zone. Budimex for Children<\/strong>\u201d. A\u00a0new common room will be\u00a0built in\u00a0the Paediatric Ward<\/strong> , which will be\u00a0equipped with comfortable and functional furniture. The floor will be\u00a0replaced, the walls will be\u00a0repainted and decorated, and there will be\u00a0separate zones for play and relaxation
In\u00a0a\u00a0friendly environment, children and their caregivers will be\u00a0able to\u00a0spend time together during this difficult period of treatment.<\/p>\n

The hospital in\u00a0Racib\u00f3rz is the only hospital in\u00a0the city, about 1500 young patients are admitted to\u00a0the pediatric ward every year. Children from infants to\u00a018 years of age are treated here. For several months, the Department has been headed by\u00a0Jacek Micu\u0142a, MD, whose goal is to\u00a0provide children from the Racib\u00f3rz district with comprehensive diagnostics and treatment. The new head of the department focuses on\u00a0the development of the ward and modernity, also understood as\u00a0a\u00a0friendly and family approach to\u00a0the patient.<\/p>\n

The Parent Zone in\u00a0Racib\u00f3rz will be\u00a0opened at\u00a0the end of August this year, and Budimex employees will join in\u00a0the work, volunteering to\u00a0help during the last finishing works.
In\u00a0addition to\u00a0Budimex volunteers, the campaign has been attended from the very beginning by\u00a0the honorary ambassador of the programme \u2013 Agnieszka Grochowska<\/strong>, a\u00a0popular actress, known for her roles in\u00a0the films \u201cWa\u0142\u0119sa\u201d and \u201cStrange Heaven\u201d.<\/p>\n

More children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals are already waiting for their Parent Zone.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Budimex for children. Parent Zone<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Creating more comfortable conditions for parents of sick children to\u00a0stay with their children in\u00a0hospital, and thus improving the well-being of children and facilitating their faster recovery is the main objective of the \u201cParent Zone\u201d social programme implemented by\u00a0Budimex SA.
As\u00a0part of the program, special zones for parents are separated in\u00a0children\u2019s wards of Polish hospitals.
Depending on\u00a0the needs and conditions in\u00a0individual facilities, it may be\u00a0arranging an unused room or\u00a0a\u00a0fragment of a\u00a0corridor, equipping the hospital with an appropriate number of folding beds or\u00a0sanitary facilities, or\u00a0organizing a\u00a0place to\u00a0rest and play with children. The main objectives of the Parent Zone program are: to\u00a0provide sick children staying in\u00a0hospital with their parents for as\u00a0long as\u00a0possible, to\u00a0reduce stress caused by\u00a0isolation and lack of contact
with the parent, publicizing the problem of limited contact between parents and children in\u00a0pediatric wards and a\u00a0real reduction in\u00a0the time of children\u2019s stay in\u00a0hospitals.<\/p>\n
