Budimex 50 years\u201d, in\u00a0which the winner wins 500 thousand. PLN. \u201cIf we\u00a0could implement all the ideas, Poland would look better, happier,\u201d dreams Tatiana Mindewicz-Puacz from Task Force Consulting, the coordinator of this project. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The main assumption of the jubilee competition is to\u00a0change the space and life around you. Build, renovate, modernize. But not alone, but
with institutions working for the social good, not\u00a0for profit.<\/p>\n

What would non-governmental organisations, foundations, social activists and local government officials who responded to\u00a0the idea of Budimex want to\u00a0change around them? \u201cMany of these projects surprised us. The imagination of the originators is unlimited,
And the applications are prepared professionally. There is a\u00a0lot to\u00a0choose from,\u201d admits Maria Miko\u0142ajczak, a\u00a0representative of the jury.<\/p>\n

Among the quarter of a\u00a0thousand applications there are, for example: bus stops with roofs with green gardens, a\u00a0pavilion made of recycled plastics, an open DIY workshop, a\u00a0diving platform for rehabilitation of the disabled, a\u00a0mobile school for the youngest, a\u00a0sailing kindergarten, a\u00a0school in\u00a0the forest, balloon flights between special nature centers. There are also other projects in\u00a0which entire local communities and the authorities of a\u00a0given area are involved, such as\u00a0the modernization of historic buildings or\u00a0the creation of new spaces for sports. \u2013 Everyone wants to\u00a0change the space around them. Because the people who sent in\u00a0their ideas know that it will best serve them and their loved ones,\u201d says Rafa\u0142 Sonik, chairman of the jury, winner of the Dakar Rally, owner of Gemini Holding.<\/p>\n

After verifying the submitted applications, the jury selected as\u00a0many as\u00a099 projects for the next stage, including 33 in\u00a0the field of education and upbringing, 18 in\u00a0local development, 17 in\u00a0social assistance, 10 in\u00a0health and culture and art, 5 in\u00a0sport and ecology, as\u00a0well as\u00a01 project in\u00a0the field of science and technology.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

On\u00a015 August, the jury (Rafa\u0142 Sonik, Konrad Maj \u2013 Innovation Centre of the SWPS University; Mateusz Turecki \u2013\u00a0 Budimex; Cezary \u0141ysenko \u2013 Budimex; Maria Miko\u0142ajczak \u2013 Task Force Consulting) will announce on\u00a0the www.zmieniajswiatbx50.pl<\/a> website a\u00a0list of three winners who will continue to\u00a0present their ideas. The final of the competition will take place on\u00a0September 5
in\u00a0Warsaw. The jury will select the winner of the main prize (half a\u00a0million zlotys). The winning project, \u00a0in\u00a0addition to\u00a0financing, will also receive expert support from Budimex (logistics, organisation, expertise). The second place is expected to\u00a0receive 45 thousand. PLN. (donated for statutory purposes), III place 35 thousand. PLN. (statutory objectives) and the Internet Users\u2019 Award of 20 thousand. PLN. (statutory objectives). The winner will have time until mid-December 2018 to\u00a0implement the project.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
