Budimex will sponsor the Polish Firefighter Combat Challenge \u0141\u00f3d\u017a \u2013 2018. Participants from Poland and abroad will take part in\u00a0this extremely spectacular competition. The organizers expect competitors m.in.\u00a0from Ukraine, Germany and Slovenia. Firefighters will have to\u00a0overcome the obstacle course as\u00a0efficiently as\u00a0possible. There will also be\u00a0a\u00a0presentation of their equipment. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe were pleased\u00a0to\u00a0join in\u00a0financing the event, because we\u00a0observe the importance of the work performed by\u00a0firefighters on\u00a0a\u00a0daily basis<\/em> ,\u201d says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex S.A. Polish firefighters are known all over the world for their professionalism, excellent preparation and excellently conducted operations. The best example was the help they recently provided to\u00a0their colleagues in\u00a0Sweden, becoming heroes for the local residents. Our company also often has the pleasure of working with them, m.in.\u00a0during the evaluation of our development investments.<\/em> The construction and firefighting industries must work closely together, because it is a\u00a0guarantee of safety, which is very important to\u00a0us. For these reasons, we\u00a0decided without hesitation to\u00a0sponsor the Firefighter Combat Challenge <\/em>\u2013 says Dariusz Blocher.<\/p>\n

The organizer of the Polish Championships in\u00a0\u0141\u00f3d\u017a, which will take place on\u00a0September 28 \u2013 29, 2018. in\u00a0the Manufaktura Shopping Center in\u00a0\u0141\u00f3d\u017a, there is the Firefighter Combat Challenge \u2013 Poland Foundation. \u2013 We\u00a0also received Budimex\u2019s sponsorship last year, and our cooperation was excellent. We\u00a0are all the more pleased that we\u00a0can also count on\u00a0the company\u2019s help now. Budimex\u2019s support will provide us with m.in.\u00a0building a\u00a0tower, which is one of the most important elements in\u00a0the\u00a0entire circuit<\/em> \u2013 says Jerzy Kulicki, coordinator of the competition preparations.<\/p>\n

The event is extremely spectacular and attracts crowds every time. Firefighters present excellent preparation for their service and perfect training. Viewers can get to\u00a0know the specifics of their daily work better. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Competitors from Poland and abroad will take part in\u00a0the competition. The competition will consist of running a\u00a0specially prepared obstacle course, in\u00a0which speed, accuracy and knowledge of the activities performed during rescue and firefighting operations will count. For spectators, in\u00a0addition to\u00a0the opportunity to\u00a0observe the course of the competition, many other attractions are planned, such as\u00a0presentations of fire vehicles or\u00a0a\u00a0climbing wall. Children will be\u00a0able to\u00a0take part in\u00a0the \u201cmini FCC\u201d game, similar in\u00a0character to\u00a0the Polish Firefighter Combat Challenge Championships. The little daredevils will overcome a\u00a0similar track as\u00a0their older friends, but adapted to\u00a0their abilities. They will also receive appropriate equipment m.in.\u00a0uniforms and helmets.<\/p>\n

Although the first Firefighter Combat Challenge Championship was not held until 1998, its history goes back many years. Tests aimed at\u00a0checking the physical fitness of firefighters began as\u00a0early as\u00a01975. Over time, it has become a\u00a0sports discipline in\u00a0which firefighters from all over the world willingly take part in\u00a0competitions. In\u00a0Poland, the competition has been held since 2011.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
