On\u00a014 September, a\u00a0consortium of Strabag and Budimex concluded a\u00a0contract with GDDKiA for the design and construction of a\u00a0section of the A1 motorway in\u00a0the province of Szczecin. Lodz. The tasks of Strabag and Budimex will include the construction of section C, i.e. the route from Kamie\u0144sk to\u00a0Radomsko. This road is 16.7 km long. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The consortium of Strabag and Budimex announced that the investment will be\u00a0completed within 32 months, but without including the 4-month winter period, counted from 15 December to\u00a015 March. The value of the investment was estimated at\u00a0PLN 573.14 million gross.<\/p>\n

Section C, built by\u00a0the consortium of Strabag and Budimex, as\u00a0well as\u00a0sections B\u00a0and D, will be\u00a0different from the currently existing motorway marked as\u00a0section A. Two lanes in\u00a0each direction will replace three. In\u00a0addition, at\u00a0the intersections in\u00a0Kamie\u0144sk and Radomsko there will be\u00a0collision-free interchanges instead of single-level intersections. It is also significant that a\u00a0concrete surface will be\u00a0used in\u00a0the construction of this road, which will significantly affect its durability.<\/p>\n

The A1 motorway is an important investment in\u00a0Poland, as\u00a0it is the only Polish motorway connecting the north and south of the country. Its ends are the Tri-City and the town of Gorzyczki, in\u00a0the Silesian Voivodeship.<\/p>\n

There are still 4 sections to\u00a0be\u00a0built in\u00a0the \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Voivodeship, and the total length of the A1 motorway in\u00a0this part of Polish will be\u00a0a\u00a0total of 167 km. \u2013 The A1 motorway is an extremely important investment for Polish, because its construction will open a\u00a0business route for our southern neighbours to\u00a0the ports in\u00a0the Tri-City. We\u00a0are ready to\u00a0work for this investment, because as\u00a0a\u00a0leader on\u00a0the Polish construction market, we\u00a0have extensive experience in\u00a0modern road construction<\/em> \u2013 says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
