\n The official opening of the 9.5 km section takes place on\u00a05 October. The investment will significantly reduce the travel time between the Pozna\u0144 and Wroc\u0142aw agglomerations. Drivers will gain two roadways with two lanes each. As\u00a0part of the works carried out by\u00a0Budimex, the Leszno Po\u0142udnie road junction was also built at\u00a0the intersection with provincial road No. 323. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The contractor for the works for the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways was Budimex. The value of the project is PLN 189.1 million. The Leszno Po\u0142udnie \u2013 Kaczkowo section is one of five fragments of the S5 expressway under construction in\u00a0the province of Szczecin. Wielkopolska. This is an investment of strategic importance, because it will allow drivers to\u00a0travel between Pozna\u0144 and Wroc\u0142aw faster and in\u00a0more comfortable conditions. Two roadways with two lanes each have been put into use.<\/p>\n

The scope of work also included the construction of 8 engineering structures: 1 bridge, 6 road viaducts, an upper passage for animals on\u00a0the S5 and over the E59 railway line, as\u00a0well as\u00a0culverts, environmental protection devices and road lighting. The Leszno Po\u0142udnie road junction was also built at\u00a0the intersection with the provincial road No. 323. The works also included the reconstruction of transverse and access roads and the reconstruction of collisions.<\/p>\n

\u2013 I\u00a0am\u00a0very happy that we\u00a0managed to\u00a0efficiently carry out the investment, which is so important for drivers and the entire region. It is a\u00a0key transport hub. Not only does it connect two large agglomerations, but cars move here between the A2 and the A4 and A8, which is why it was so important to\u00a0improve traffic on\u00a0this section. I\u00a0am\u00a0convinced that users will immediately feel the improvement in\u00a0comfort<\/em> \u2013 says Artur Popko, Member of the Management Board of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0the province.
