\n According to\u00a0the contract, Budimex obtained a\u00a0fault-free final acceptance of the construction of 32.5 km of high-pressure gas pipeline. The investment is located on\u00a0the section from\u00a0 the Czesz\u00f3w Shut-Off and Relief Complex to\u00a0the Kie\u0142cz\u00f3w junction. The contract was implemented as\u00a0part of the construction of the Polish border (Las\u00f3w) \u2013 Taczalin \u2013 Radakowice \u2013 Ga\u0142\u00f3w \u2013 Wierzchowice gas pipeline together with the infrastructure necessary to\u00a0 operate it. The total value of the project is over PLN 63 million. <\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

Budimex has built a\u00a032.5 km gas pipeline located in\u00a0two municipalities: Zawonia and D\u0142ugo\u0142\u0119ka, located in\u00a0the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The investor is Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. Budimex has once again proved to\u00a0be\u00a0a\u00a0reliable contractor, characterized by\u00a0the highest quality of workmanship, as\u00a0the construction was completed within the deadline specified in\u00a0the contract, and also obtained a\u00a0fault-free final acceptance. \u201d We\u00a0are all the more proud to\u00a0have achieved a\u00a0faultless offtake, because the investor is a\u00a0strategic company for the Polish economy, responsible for the transmission of natural gas and the management of the most important gas pipelines in\u00a0Poland <\/em>,\u201d says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex S.A.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Comprehensive construction of the gas pipeline<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The contract also included the construction of shut-off and relief systems, access roads and new power connections for the facilities. \u2013 The construction of the gas pipeline was a\u00a0major technical and organizational challenge, because the investment was carried out in\u00a0an area covered by\u00a0the Natura 2000 program, so we\u00a0had to\u00a0not only take care of the quality and timeliness of the work, but also the protection of valuable natural areas. For this purpose, we\u00a0used, for example, HDD directional drilling technology<\/em> \u2013 says Dariusz Blocher. Despite this, the team implementing the investment completed it within the contractual deadline. The gas pipeline has been filled, commissioned, commissioned and operational and has obtained operating permits.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n An important investment for Polish<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The construction of the Czesz\u00f3w-Kie\u0142cz\u00f3w gas pipeline is an important element in\u00a0strengthening Polish\u2019s energy security. Together with the other gas pipelines that will be\u00a0built in\u00a0Lower Silesia, the new section with the highest operating parameters will enable the transmission of increased volumes of gas in\u00a0the transmission system and will be\u00a0part of the North-South corridor. The importance of this investment is evidenced by\u00a0the fact that the European Commission has granted it the status of a\u00a0\u201cProject of Common Interest\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Budimex builds for the energy and industrial sector<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The Czesz\u00f3w-Kie\u0142cz\u00f3w gas pipeline is not the first implementation of an energy and industrial contract for Budimex. In\u00a0addition to\u00a0many projects in\u00a0the waste sector and environmental protection, since 2014 the company has also been building a\u00a0power unit in\u00a0the Tur\u00f3w Power Plant in\u00a0a\u00a0consortium. The contract includes the design, construction and commissioning of a\u00a0450 MW power plant, as\u00a0well as\u00a0staff training at\u00a0PGE G\u00f3rnictwo i\u00a0Energetyka Konwencjonalna S.A., Tur\u00f3w Power Plant Branch. The construction is to\u00a0be\u00a0completed in\u00a02020, and its total value is over PLN 3.5 billion.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n
