The investor is the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and the<\/strong><br \/>\n            <strong>the general contractor of the investment is Budimex. The author of the project is the Warsaw office of WXCA sp. z o. o., Currently, Budimex is already completing earthworks under the supervision of an archaeologist, work is also underway to perform waterproofing of the shell of the underground part of the building and to construct the structure in\u00a0the watertight concrete technology. Foundation slabs are also being laid and walls and columns are being installed. Construction began just 90 days ago and the progress of construction is already 7%.  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>The Polish History Museum is a state cultural institution established on 2 May 2006. The facility is to present the most important events in the history of our country. It is also intended to present parliamentary traditions, the role of civic movements, and the importance of fights for freedom and independence. The facility will be located at the Warsaw Citadel. The museum will be distinguished by the most modern solutions, m.in. those used to protect exhibits in the event of various, even the most extreme threats. Budimex will also install acoustic systems, thanks to which it will be possible to organise concerts without additional sound systems.<\/p>\n<p>\n            <strong>Works under archaeological supervision<\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>The contract for the implementation of the project was signed on May 30, 2018. Construction began in July 2018. Completion is planned for 2021. The building will have two underground floors and four above-ground floors. Its total area is over 53 thousand. m2. The fa\u00e7ade will be made mainly of stone with fragments in the form of a glass fa\u00e7ade. In addition to the exhibition part, the facility will also include\u00a0conservation workshops, laboratories, warehouses, an educational center, office and social spaces for employees, as well as a restaurant and a caf\u00e9. The permanent exhibition will occupy 7 thousand. m2, and temporary exhibitions 1.5 thousand. m2. The museum will also have an auditorium for approx. 600 people and a cinema room for approx. 150 people.<\/p>\n<p>\n            <strong>War-Time Ceilings and Innovative Acoustics  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>A museum is an institution where extremely valuable documents will be stored, so it is very important to secure them in a special way. A m.in was designed for this purpose. partitions resistant to the load of debris resulting from e.g. demolition of the above-ground part of the building.<em>  \u201cThe construction of the Polish History Museum is a special contract for us. We are implementing it on the 50th anniversary of our company, which is also part of the modern history of our country. It is a distinction and a great responsibility at the same time. The construction site is led by a very good and experienced engineering and construction team, backed by the support of our entire organization  <\/em>\u2013 says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n<p>The facility will also include innovative acoustic solutions. The cinema and theatre hall will use a \u201cbox-in-box\u201d structure, which will provide exceptional soundproofing and acoustics. The body of the room will be completely separated from the rest of the building\u2019s structure, and inside, i.e. in the so-called \u201cInterior\u201d. Vibration isolators will be used to reduce vibrations. In addition, in the following rooms: performance, cinema and theater, projection,\u00a0 workshop, studio complex (recording studio, control room, green box), representative hall, there will be the use of wave theory of acoustics, treating the interiors as a set of resonators that ensure excellent sound quality. Thanks to this, the auditorium will be able to host classical music concerts without a sound system, popular music concerts with\u00a0a sound system, conferences and lectures, high-resolution video screenings and performances.<\/p>\n<p>\n            <strong>A system that detects a failure on its own  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>Another interesting solution in the building is the BMS system, which will be equipped with an intelligent module responsible for predicting the occurrence of possible failures and their automatic reporting to the technical services of the facility. The facility will also use renewable geothermal energy sources. During ground drilling, 30 probes will be created with a depth of approx. 160 m, which will be a source of heat and coolness.<\/p>\n<p>The facility will be protected against fire by a modern installation that converts water into water mist. This allows for a significant reduction in the range of the fire and makes it much easier for the rescuers to take action later and allows for quick evacuation of people. On the other hand, a modern mechanical ventilation installation will provide a microclimate that will allow the required parameters to be maintained for exhibitions or stored historical goods. \u2013 <em>Despite various difficulties, the construction is going very smoothly. I believe that we will finish the contract on time.
