The investor is the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, and the<\/strong><br \/>\n            <strong>the general contractor of the investment is Budimex. The author of the project is the Warsaw office of WXCA sp. z\u00a0o. o., Currently, Budimex is already completing earthworks under the supervision of an archaeologist, work is also underway to\u00a0perform waterproofing of the shell of the underground part of the building and to\u00a0construct the structure in\u00a0the watertight concrete technology. Foundation slabs are also being laid and walls and columns are being installed. Construction began just 90 days ago and the progress of construction is already 7%.  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>The Polish History Museum is a\u00a0state cultural institution established on\u00a02 May 2006. The facility is to\u00a0present the most important events in\u00a0the history of our country. It is also intended to\u00a0present parliamentary traditions, the role of civic movements, and the importance of fights for freedom and independence. The facility will be\u00a0located at\u00a0the Warsaw Citadel. The museum will be\u00a0distinguished by\u00a0the most modern solutions, m.in.\u00a0those used to\u00a0protect exhibits in\u00a0the event of various, even the most extreme threats. Budimex will also install acoustic systems, thanks to\u00a0which it will be\u00a0possible to\u00a0organise concerts without additional sound systems.<\/p>\n<p>\n            <strong>Works under archaeological supervision<\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>The contract for the implementation of the project was signed on\u00a0May 30, 2018. Construction began in\u00a0July 2018. Completion is planned for 2021. The building will have two underground floors and four above-ground floors. Its total area is over 53 thousand. m2. The fa\u00e7ade will be\u00a0made mainly of stone with fragments in\u00a0the form of a\u00a0glass fa\u00e7ade. In\u00a0addition to\u00a0the exhibition part, the facility will also include\u00a0conservation workshops, laboratories, warehouses, an educational center, office and social spaces for employees, as\u00a0well as\u00a0a\u00a0restaurant and a\u00a0caf\u00e9. The permanent exhibition will occupy 7 thousand. m2, and temporary exhibitions 1.5 thousand. m2. The museum will also have an auditorium for approx. 600 people and a\u00a0cinema room for approx. 150 people.<\/p>\n<p>\n            <strong>War-Time Ceilings and Innovative Acoustics  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0museum is an institution where extremely valuable documents will be\u00a0stored, so it is very important to\u00a0secure them in\u00a0a\u00a0special way. A\u00a0m.in was designed for this purpose. partitions resistant to\u00a0the load of debris resulting from e.g. demolition of the above-ground part of the building.<em>  \u201cThe construction of the Polish History Museum is a\u00a0special contract for us. We\u00a0are implementing it on\u00a0the 50th anniversary of our company, which is also part of the modern history of our country. It is a\u00a0distinction and a\u00a0great responsibility at\u00a0the same time. The construction site is led by\u00a0a\u00a0very good and experienced engineering and construction team, backed by\u00a0the support of our entire organization  <\/em>\u2013 says Dariusz Blocher, President of the Management Board of Budimex SA.<\/p>\n<p>The facility will also include innovative acoustic solutions. The cinema and theatre hall will use a\u00a0\u201cbox-in-box\u201d structure, which will provide exceptional soundproofing and acoustics. The body of the room will be\u00a0completely separated from the rest of the building\u2019s structure, and inside, i.e. in\u00a0the so-called \u201cInterior\u201d. Vibration isolators will be\u00a0used to\u00a0reduce vibrations. In\u00a0addition, in\u00a0the following rooms: performance, cinema and theater, projection,\u00a0 workshop, studio complex (recording studio, control room, green box), representative hall, there will be\u00a0the use of wave theory of acoustics, treating the interiors as\u00a0a\u00a0set of resonators that ensure excellent sound quality. Thanks to\u00a0this, the auditorium will be\u00a0able to\u00a0host classical music concerts without a\u00a0sound system, popular music concerts with\u00a0a\u00a0sound system, conferences and lectures, high-resolution video screenings and performances.<\/p>\n<p>\n            <strong>A\u00a0system that detects a\u00a0failure on\u00a0its own  <\/strong>\n          <\/p>\n<p>Another interesting solution in\u00a0the building is the BMS system, which will be\u00a0equipped with an intelligent module responsible for predicting the occurrence of possible failures and their automatic reporting to\u00a0the technical services of the facility. The facility will also use renewable geothermal energy sources. During ground drilling, 30 probes will be\u00a0created with a\u00a0depth of approx. 160 m, which will be\u00a0a\u00a0source of heat and coolness.<\/p>\n<p>The facility will be\u00a0protected against fire by\u00a0a\u00a0modern installation that converts water into water mist. This allows for a\u00a0significant reduction in\u00a0the range of the fire and makes it much easier for the rescuers to\u00a0take action later and allows for quick evacuation of people. On\u00a0the other hand, a\u00a0modern mechanical ventilation installation will provide a\u00a0microclimate that will allow the required parameters to\u00a0be\u00a0maintained for exhibitions or\u00a0stored historical goods. \u2013 <em>Despite various difficulties, the construction is going very smoothly. I\u00a0believe that we\u00a0will finish the contract on\u00a0time.
