\n The consortium of Budimex S.A. and Mostostal Krak\u00f3w S.A.\u00a0 signed a\u00a0contract\u00a0 worth PLN 521 million 479\u00a0055 net with the Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. for: \u201cConstruction of the Strachocina-Border gas pipeline together with the infrastructure necessary for its operation\u201d, which is a\u00a0connection of the transmission systems of the Republic of Poland and the Slovak Republic.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The investment will be\u00a0carried out by\u00a0Budimex\u2019s Power and Industrial Construction Division\u00a0 . In\u00a0October 2018, Budimex completed the contract for the construction of the Czesz\u00f3w-Kie\u0142cz\u00f3w gas pipeline for the same investor.<\/p>\n

The works begin on\u00a0the day of signing the contract and the deadline for completion of the works is 31 months from the date of its signing. The investment includes the construction of a\u00a0high-pressure gas pipeline\u00a0 with a\u00a0length of approximately 59 km and a\u00a0diameter of DN 1000 and an operating pressure of 8.4 MPa.\u00a0 During the implementation, trenchless technologies such as\u00a0HDD (horizontal directional drilling), Direct Pipe and microtunneling will be\u00a0used. Due to\u00a0the route of the gas pipeline in\u00a0areas threatened by\u00a0geodynamic movements, it will be\u00a0necessary to\u00a0secure landslides with the use of stabilizing micropiles.<\/p>\n

The route of the gas pipeline will run through the municipalities of Sanok, Bukowsko and Koma\u0144cza in\u00a0the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The investment is an important element of Gaz-System\u2019s investment strategy due to\u00a0its strategic importance\u00a0 \u2013 the interconnection of the Polish and Slovak natural gas transmission systems. The parties to\u00a0the project are Gaz \u2013 System and Eustream a.s \u2013 the Polish and Slovak transmission system operators.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
