As\u00a0part of the contract, Budimex built a\u00a0passenger terminal with a\u00a0technical, technical and garage building and a\u00a0building for the airport fire brigade.<\/p>\n

The terminal has a\u00a0total area of 11 thousand. m.kw. and consists of three wings. The central point is the departures hall with the baggage and ticket check-in area. In\u00a0the west wing there is the arrivals area, and in\u00a0the east wing there is the departures area. The southern wing is occupied by\u00a0the railway station and accompanying office rooms intended for the airport administration as\u00a0well as\u00a0customs and border services.<\/p>\n

The new terminal is able to\u00a0accommodate 1 million passengers per year. The project provides for the possibility of expanding the airport, depending on\u00a0the demand and the number of connections.<\/p>\n

The new terminal has already gained the recognition of Internet users. In\u00a0the online competition Life in\u00a0Architecture, this building received the most votes and was awarded the title of Polish\u2019s Favourite.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n
