\n On\u00a021 February 2014, Budimex signed a\u00a0contract with the Pozna\u0144 branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the completion of the construction of the S5 expressway \u2013 Pozna\u0144 (A-2 \u201cG\u0142uchowo\u201d junction) \u2013 Wroc\u0142aw (A-8 \u201cWidawa\u201d junction), Kaczkowo \u2013 Korze\u0144sko section (Bojanowo and Rawicz bypass). The contract has a\u00a0net value of PLN 198.8 million.<\/strong>\n <\/p>\n

The level of advancement of the works carried out by\u00a0the previous contractor (Alpine Bau Gmbh) is approx. 70 per cent.<\/p>\n

Budimex\u2019s responsibilities include the completion of the construction of a\u00a029.3 km section of the S5 expressway. The following works remain to\u00a0be\u00a0performed:<\/p>\n

  • earthworks on\u00a0the main route, transverse and service roads,<\/li>\n
  • reinforcement of embankment slopes,<\/li>\n
  • construction of foundations and surfaces,<\/li>\n
  • execution of horizontal and vertical markings,<\/li>\n
  • installation of traffic safety devices,<\/li>\n
  • humus of slopes and planting greenery,<\/li>\n
  • installation of noise barriers,<\/li>\n
  • finishing works on\u00a0engineering structures, in\u00a0MOP buildings and industry works (lighting and telecommunications).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Budimex has 8 months from the date of signing the contract to\u00a0implement the investment (excluding the period between 15 December and 15 March).<\/p>\n
