In accordance with the contractual deadline, on 14 November 2014, Budimex completed works on approx. a 30-kilometre section of the S5 expressway on the Kaczkowo \u2013 Korzensko section.<\/p>\n

The main route and access roads were put into service in mid-September, while in November the construction of Motorway Service Areas (MSAs) was completed.<\/p>\n

Budimex\u2019s task was to complete the construction of a 30-kilometre section of the S5 expressway after the previous contractor:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • earthworks on the main route, transverse and service roads,<\/li>\n
  • reinforcement of embankment slopes,<\/li>\n
  • construction of foundations and surfaces,<\/li>\n
  • execution of horizontal and vertical markings,<\/li>\n
  • installation of traffic safety devices,<\/li>\n
  • humus of slopes and planting greenery,<\/li>\n
  • installation of noise barriers,<\/li>\n
  • finishing works on engineering structures, in MOP buildings and industry works (lighting and telecommunications).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n The contract with the Pozna\u0144 branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the completion of the construction of the S5 expressway \u2013 Pozna\u0144 (A-2 junction \u201cG\u0142uchowo\u201d) \u2013 Wroc\u0142aw (A-8 junction \u201cWidawa\u201d), section Kaczkowo \u2013 Korzensko (bypass of Bojanowo and Rawicz), was signed on 21 February 2014.
