On\u00a021 August 2015, the Lublin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways announced the selection of two bids from Budimex for the design and construction of two sections of the S17 Garwolin \u2013 Kur\u00f3w expressway: from Garwolin to\u00a0Go\u0144czyce (PLN 234.6 million net) and from Go\u0144czyce to\u00a0the border of the Lubelskie and Mazowieckie voivodeships (PLN 255 million net).<\/p>\n

The sections have a\u00a0total length of 25.2 km \u2013 from Garwolin to\u00a0Go\u0144czyce \u2013 12.2 km and from Go\u0144czyce to\u00a0the border of the voivodeships \u2013 13 km.<\/p>\n

The over 25-kilometer section of the expressway will have two roadways with two lanes each. The construction of the S17 also includes the construction of engineering structures and accompanying infrastructure. As\u00a0part of the construction of the section from Garwolin to\u00a0Go\u0144czyce, Budimex will also build:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • two road junctions,<\/li>\n
  • access and technological roads,<\/li>\n
  • 10 engineering structures along the expressway and over the expressway,<\/li>\n
  • 2 road structures along access roads over watercourses,<\/li>\n
  • Motorway Service Area and Expressway Maintenance Circuit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    On\u00a0the section from Go\u0144czyce to\u00a0the border of the Mazowieckie and Lubelskie voivodeships, Budimex will build:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • one road interchange,<\/li>\n
    • access and technological roads,<\/li>\n
    • 13 engineering structures along the expressway and over the expressway,<\/li>\n
    • 5 road structures along access roads over watercourses,<\/li>\n
    • Passenger service area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Budimex will have 34 months from the signing of the contract to\u00a0implement the investment.
