On\u00a029 September 2015, Budimex signed a\u00a0contract with the Szczecin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the design and construction of the S6 Goleni\u00f3w \u2013 Nowogard expressway. The contract has a\u00a0net value of PLN 279.6 million.
The scope of work includes the construction of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • 19.2-kilometre section of dual carriageway expressway (two lanes on\u00a0each carriageway),<\/li>\n
  • engineering structures (viaducts, bridges, flyovers, animal crossings, culverts over watercourses),<\/li>\n
  • transport hubs (Goleni\u00f3w P\u00f3\u0142noc at\u00a0the intersection of national roads 3 and 6, \u017b\u00f3\u0142wia B\u0142o\u0107, Glewice and Kikora),<\/li>\n
  • access roads for local traffic, drainage system,<\/li>\n
  • reconstruction of public roads, power grids, water supply networks and construction of infrastructure for environmental protection (animal crossings, culverts, acoustic screens, partition nets, rainwater pre-treatment devices).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Budimex has 34 months to\u00a0complete this investment (excluding winter periods from 15 December to\u00a015 March).<\/p>\n

    National road No. 6 is of great importance for Pomerania. It connects the largest cities of Northern Polish: Szczecin, Gda\u0144sk, Gdynia, S\u0142upsk, Koszalin. It is a\u00a0road connection between Polish seaports, from \u015awinouj\u015bcie and Szczecin, to\u00a0the ports of the Tri-City. From it, roads serving tourist areas branch north. It is also part of the transport corridor connecting the Kaliningrad Oblast with Western Europe and a\u00a0connection to\u00a0Lithuania \u2013 to\u00a0Kaunas and Vilnius.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
