On\u00a05 October 2015, Budimex signed a\u00a0contract with the Szczecin Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the design and construction of the S6 expressway on\u00a0the section from the end of the bypass of the city of Szczecin. Fences to\u00a0the Kie\u0142pino junction (with the junction). Budimex will build this road for PLN 206.5 million net.<\/p>\n

The scope of work includes the construction of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • 14.6-kilometre section of the expressway,<\/li>\n
  • of Wicimice and Kie\u0142pino transport hubs<\/li>\n
  • engineering structures (viaducts, bridges, flyovers, animal crossings, culverts over watercourses),<\/li>\n
  • access roads for local traffic,<\/li>\n
  • infrastructure for environmental protection (animal crossings, culverts, acoustic screens, partition nets, rainwater pre-treatment devices),<\/li>\n
  • reconstruction of public roads, power and water supply networks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In\u00a0the future, expressway No. 6 will connect the largest cities of Northern Polish: Szczecin, Gda\u0144sk, Gdynia, S\u0142upsk, Koszalin.<\/p>\n
