On 9 October 2015, Budimex signed a contract with the Gda\u0144sk Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways for the construction of a 19.1-kilometre section of the S7 expressway from Nowy Dw\u00f3r Gda\u0144ski to Kazimierz\u00f3w. The contract has a net value of PLN 1.3 billion.<\/p>\n

The scope of work includes the construction of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • dual carriageway expressway with a reserve for third lanes,<\/li>\n
  • access roads, technological roads and detours,<\/li>\n
  • pedestrian, pedestrian and bicycle routes, bus stops and bays,<\/li>\n
  • two road junctions: \u017bu\u0142awy East and Elbl\u0105g West,<\/li>\n
  • engineering structures along the S7 expressway (including m.in 10 bridges and two viaducts),<\/li>\n
  • engineering structures in the line of roads of lower classes (one bridge, 10 viaducts),<\/li>\n
  • a pedestrian tunnel under the expressway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The investment also includes the renewal of the pavement on a section of the existing dual carriageway bypass of Nowy Dw\u00f3r Gda\u0144ski. The contractor\u2019s tasks include the reconstruction of the S7 expressway in the scope of liquidation of the intersection with ul. \u017bu\u0142awska Street in Elbl\u0105g and the construction of a viaduct along this street over the S7 expressway.<\/p>\n
