The Budimex Group has once again confirmed its position as\u00a0the leader of the Polish construction market. The report “Polish construction companies 2025. The most important players, key growth factors and prospects for the development of the industry”, published by\u00a0Deloitte, shows that Budimex ranks first in\u00a0key industry rankings \u2013 in\u00a0terms of revenues, sales result, net result and market value.<\/strong><\/p>

In 2024, the revenues of the fifteen largest construction companies in\u00a0Poland totalled just over PLN 47 billion, which means an increase of 0.7% year-on-year. As\u00a0in\u00a0previous years, Budimex was the leader of the ranking with revenues exceeding PLN 9.1 billion.<\/p>

Solid result despite difficult market conditions<\/strong><\/p>

In 2024, the Group achieved the highest result in\u00a0the industry from sales, understood as\u00a0the difference between operating revenues and cost of sales. It amounted to\u00a0nearly PLN 1.2 billion, clearly ahead of the next entities in\u00a0the list. For comparison, the second company in\u00a0this ranking reached PLN 308 million. Although the average operating margin for the 15 largest construction companies decreased by\u00a00.2% y\/y in\u00a02024, which shows the cost pressure in\u00a0the sector, Budimex was among the companies with the highest operating profitability \u2013 the Group’s operating margin amounted to\u00a012.75%, which means an increase of 1.27 p.p. compared to\u00a02023.<\/p>

Highest net result \u2013 eighth year in\u00a0a\u00a0row<\/strong><\/p>

In the ranking in\u00a0terms of net result, the Budimex Group took first place for the eighth year in\u00a0a\u00a0row, achieving a\u00a0net profit of PLN 623.6 million in\u00a02024. Despite the fact that Budimex recorded a\u00a0decrease in\u00a0net profit by\u00a0PLN 122.5 million, i.e. by\u00a016.4% year-on-year, it maintained a\u00a0clear advantage over the next entities in\u00a0the ranking.<\/p>

“The results of the Deloitte report show the scale and stability of our operations in\u00a0a\u00a0challenging market environment. We\u00a0focus on\u00a0maintaining predictable financial results, diversifying revenue sources and further strengthening operational efficiency. It is also important for us to\u00a0develop new business areas and manage investments responsibly in\u00a0order to\u00a0respond to\u00a0the changing dynamics and needs<\/em> of the market,” says Cezary \u0141ysenko, Chief Operating Officer of Infrastructure and General Construction, Budimex SA.<\/strong><\/p>

Leader in\u00a0capital expenditures<\/strong><\/p>

In 2024, the leader in\u00a0terms of the nominal value of capital expenditures was the Budimex Group. Total expenditures amounted to\u00a0over PLN 343.8 million and were higher by\u00a0over PLN 101.5 million than in\u00a02023. The scale of the investment confirms the consistent building of the Group’s operational and technological potential.<\/p>

Budimex is also the leader in\u00a0terms of nominal revenues from non-construction activities. In\u00a02024, they amounted to\u00a0approximately PLN 1.0 billion. They include, above all, service activities in\u00a0the field of municipal waste management, comprehensive road maintenance, technical maintenance of buildings and the development of projects in\u00a0the area of renewable energy sources.<\/p>

Highest capitalization on\u00a0the WSE<\/strong><\/p>

Since 2011, Budimex has remained the leader in\u00a0terms of market value among construction companies listed on\u00a0the Warsaw Stock Exchange. At\u00a0the end of 2024, the company’s capitalization amounted to\u00a0approx. PLN 11.9 billion, which means a\u00a0decrease of 25.5% compared to\u00a02023, while maintaining its position as\u00a0the most valuable construction company on\u00a0the public market.<\/p>

Budimex’s strong market position is complemented by\u00a0its contribution to\u00a0public finances. The company remains the largest CIT payer in\u00a0the construction industry \u2013 according to\u00a0the data of the Ministry of Finance, in\u00a0the last ten years it has transferred over PLN 1.5 billion to\u00a0the state budget on\u00a0account of this tax. The scale of taxes paid confirms Budimex’s permanent rooting in\u00a0the national economy and its role as\u00a0one of the pillars of the Polish construction sector.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section> \n
