A record-breaking edition of the Budimex Academy Internship Programme is launched, which enables young people to\u00a0gain experience in\u00a0the implementation of strategic construction investments throughout Poland. This year, the company has prepared over 300 paid places for students and dozens of offers for technical students in\u00a075 locations throughout the country. Recruitment begins on\u00a0March 2 and will last until the end of June.<\/strong><\/p>

The Budimex Academy Internship Programme is one of the largest educational initiatives in the construction industry in\u00a0Poland. In\u00a0this year’s edition, students will work on\u00a0construction sites and in\u00a0the company’s offices in\u00a075 locations in\u00a014 provinces, and for the first time abroad \u2013 in\u00a0Tallinn, Estonia. The program will last from March to\u00a0the end of September, although the vast majority of internships are planned for the summer period, so that they do\u00a0not interfere with classes during the academic year. Applications for participation in\u00a0the program can be\u00a0submitted via the www.akademiabudimex.pl<\/a> website. <\/p>

” We are entering a\u00a0decade of huge infrastructure investments in\u00a0Poland, which will require thousands of well-prepared specialists. At\u00a0Budimex, we\u00a0not only observe these changes, but also actively support the development of future staff. Our internship programme is a\u00a0real start for young people in\u00a0an industry that is one of the most innovative and fastest growing sectors of the economy today<\/em> ,” says Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska, Member of the Management Board, Director of the Human Resources Management Division at\u00a0Budimex SA.

<\/p>

Internships at\u00a0Budimex \u2013 a\u00a0chance to\u00a0start a\u00a0career, not only for engineers<\/strong><\/p>

The Budimex Academy Internship Programme is addressed not only to\u00a0students of civil engineering and related fields, but also to\u00a0people interested in\u00a0a\u00a0career in areas such as\u00a0HR, finance, law, health and safety, IT and innovation. Apprentices can gain experience both on\u00a0construction sites and in\u00a0the Economic Offices of Construction Companies throughout Poland and at\u00a0the company’s headquarters \u2013 m.in.\u00a0in\u00a0the IT Office, the Financial Division, the Legal Office, the Technical Office, the Innovation Department or\u00a0the Warranty Branches. As\u00a0every year, all internships are paid.<\/p>

“Our program has been very highly rated by\u00a0the participants for years. Students particularly appreciate the implementation process, the working atmosphere, cooperation with the supervisor and the team, as\u00a0well as\u00a0ambitious, developmental tasks. Nearly 60% of participants declare their willingness to\u00a0continue working in\u00a0the company, and over 20% of apprentices stay at\u00a0Budimex permanently or\u00a0return for the next edition of the program <\/em>\u2013 adds<\/strong> Anna Kary\u015b-Sosi\u0144ska<\/strong>.<\/p>


Internships for technical school students \u2013 investment in\u00a0the youngest talents<\/strong><\/p>

At the same time, Budimex is developing the Apprenticeship Programme for students of construction technicians, which will have its fifth edition this year. Several dozen young people will have a\u00a0chance to\u00a0gain real professional experience, develop competences, both technical and soft, under the supervision of a\u00a0dedicated tutor and build a\u00a0network of industry contacts. Students can also participate in\u00a0additional integration initiatives and competitions, and the best of them will receive a\u00a0financial scholarship. A\u00a0total of 213 students have already taken part in\u00a0the four editions of the program so far.

Budimex consistently invests in\u00a0the development of young talents<\/strong><\/p>

The activities carried out as\u00a0part of the Budimex Academy are part of the company’s long-term strategy, focused on\u00a0building the competences of future construction industry staff. For years, the company has been developing cooperation with technical and economic universities, engaging in\u00a0research and development projects and initiatives supporting the development of practical skills of students.<\/p>

Budimex also creates modern spaces conducive to\u00a0learning and integration. Budimex zones were created, m.in, at\u00a0the Stanis\u0142aw Noakowski Technical School of Architecture and Construction in\u00a0Warsaw and at\u00a0the Bialystok University of Technology.<\/p>

The company has concluded 27 cooperation agreements with universities and established strategic partnerships with 53 schools across the country. Thanks to\u00a0Budimex’s educational and partner programmes, such as\u00a0the Budimex Academy or\u00a0the Ambassador Programme, over 3,000 young people have already gained their first professional experience in\u00a0the construction industry.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section> \n
