The largest General Contractor in\u00a0Poland has commissioned the Nursing and Care Facility in\u00a0Ostro\u0142\u0119ka. The modern facility, the construction of which took two years, will start accepting the first children in\u00a0the coming weeks. The investment will provide the region’s residents with access to\u00a0professional nursing and rehabilitation care in\u00a0comfortable conditions. The official opening will take place at\u00a0the turn of March and April this year. <\/strong><\/p>

The Care and Care Facility in\u00a0Ostro\u0142\u0119ka built by\u00a0Budimex is a\u00a0single-storey building with a\u00a0usable area of 2993.60 m\u00b2 and a\u00a0volume of 11,375.68 m\u00b3. The facility was designed in\u00a0a\u00a0form similar to\u00a0the half of the letter “H” with an internal green courtyard, which allows people benefiting from the care of the center to\u00a0stay safely and controllably outdoors. The building includes, among others, an entrance area, two residential segments comprising 49 patient rooms with bathrooms, an office part and a\u00a0rehabilitation ward with kitchen and technical facilities.<\/p>

The implementation of the investment included not only the execution of construction works, but also the comprehensive turnkey equipment of the facility. During the term of the contract, design changes were introduced along with obtaining a\u00a0new building permit. As\u00a0a\u00a0result of the extension of the scope of work, the value of the contract increased from PLN 21,095,416 gross to\u00a0PLN 32,148,623.16 gross. The first residents will move into the new building in\u00a0March 2026, and the grand opening of the facility is scheduled for the turn of March and April.<\/p>

– The construction of the Nursing and Care Facility in\u00a0Ostro\u0142\u0119ka is a\u00a0project of particular social importance. Our goal was to\u00a0create a\u00a0place that would provide the residents with safety, comfort and access to\u00a0modern medical and rehabilitation care. We\u00a0are glad that thanks to\u00a0this investment, the inhabitants of the region will gain a\u00a0new, well-equipped facility, and medical staff will be\u00a0able to\u00a0work in\u00a0a\u00a0functional and modern space,”<\/em> says Andrzej Sadowski, Contract Manager at\u00a0Budimex SA.<\/strong><\/p>

For many years, Budimex has been implementing investments related to\u00a0health and social care infrastructure in\u00a0Poland. In\u00a0recent years, the company has carried out, among others, projects for the Independent Public Clinical Hospital No. 1 of the Medical University of Lublin, the Rydygier Regional Hospital in\u00a0Toru\u0144, and the ongoing reconstruction of the Military Hospital in\u00a0Krakow, which will modernize the hospital’s base in\u00a0the region. In\u00a0Ostro\u0142\u0119ka, the company was also the contractor of the Museum of Cursed Soldiers.<\/p>

The company is also involved in\u00a0social activities related to\u00a0health care. For 14 years, Budimex has been implementing the “Parent Zone” initiative, the aim of which is to\u00a0create friendly spaces for children staying in\u00a0hospitals and their caregivers. In\u00a0August 2025, the company opened its 45th annual Sports Hall. Parent Zone, this time in\u00a0the otolaryngology clinic of the National Institute of Children’s Diseases in\u00a0Bratislava. The company is one of the largest contractors of infrastructure and cubature investments in\u00a0Poland, implementing projects of social, economic and communication importance throughout the country.<\/p>
