On 16 April 2026, the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone together with the foundation act inaugurated the next stage of the investment carried out by\u00a0Budimex SA. The modern police complex in\u00a0Ostr\u00f3da will significantly improve the working conditions of officers and the safety of the region’s residents. The value of the investment is nearly PLN 40 million.<\/strong><\/p>

On April 16, 2026, in\u00a0Ostr\u00f3da, in\u00a0the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, a\u00a0ceremony was held to\u00a0lay the foundation stone along with the foundation act for the construction of the new headquarters of the District Police Headquarters at\u00a0Gizewiusza Street. The event was attended by\u00a0representatives of the investor and the general contractor \u2013 Budimex SA, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship Rados\u0142aw Kr\u00f3l, the Deputy Mayor of Ostr\u00f3da Jolanta Gadomska and the Starost of Ostr\u00f3da Andrzej Wiczkowski.<\/p>

The contract for the implementation of the investment was signed on\u00a0November 5, 2024. The project, implemented in\u00a0the “design and build” formula, includes the construction of a\u00a0modern police complex, which will replace the current headquarters at\u00a0Handlowa Street. The new infrastructure will respond to\u00a0the current needs of the Police and enable further development of the unit.<\/p>

“The laying of the foundation stone is a\u00a0symbolic moment that shows that the investment is taking real shape and entering the next, advanced phase. The implementation of this type of facilities, adapted to\u00a0the realities of the work of uniformed services, requires not only executive experience, but also very good organization of the construction process and close cooperation with the investor. At\u00a0Budimex, we\u00a0attach great importance to\u00a0quality and timeliness, which is why we\u00a0consistently carry out the next stages of work in\u00a0accordance with the adopted schedule<\/em>,” says Mariusz Hurylski, Branch Director of Budimex SA.<\/strong><\/p>

As part of the investment, an administrative and office building with an area of nearly 2000 m\u00b2 will be\u00a0built, in\u00a0which a\u00a0total of 156 officers and civilian employees will be\u00a0able to\u00a0perform duty. The complex will be\u00a0equipped with modern installations, including a\u00a0photovoltaic installation. The scope of work also includes the construction of an indoor shooting range, garages with a\u00a0hangar for a\u00a0police boat and a\u00a0parking lot with charging stations for electric vehicles.<\/p>

Currently, the investment is at\u00a0the stage of construction of the above-ground structure. The foundation works have been completed, and the masonry of the ground floor walls is currently being carried out. The building is being built in\u00a0traditional, reinforced concrete masonry technology.<\/p>

For years, Budimex SA has been implementing cubature investments of significant social importance, including facilities for administration and uniformed services, contributing to\u00a0improving the quality of infrastructure throughout Poland.<\/p><\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section> \n
