As\u00a0part of the work, Budimex modernised the technical infrastructure of the substation, m.in.\u00a0turnouts and overhead contact line, as\u00a0well as\u00a0new computer traffic control equipment. As\u00a0a\u00a0result, its capacity has increased, and trains will be\u00a0able to\u00a0travel at\u00a0a\u00a0speed of 200 km\/h. The scope of work included, among others, works related to\u00a0the construction of a\u00a0new track surface with a\u00a0subgrade and drainage system, demolition of the existing and construction of a\u00a0new overhead contact line with a\u00a0power supply system, and the construction of 12 new, very modern turnouts with a\u00a0movable nose of the crossing, used on\u00a0high-speed lines, which arrived at\u00a0the construction site in\u00a0special trains in\u00a03-part blocks ready for direct installation in\u00a0the track. A\u00a0new signal box building was also built. After the modernization, the Olszamowice Railway Station is fully prepared for automatic control, without the participation of people. In\u00a0addition, it is equipped with, for example, video surveillance, and the switchboard has automatic fire extinguishing systems.<\/p>\n

\nAlthough the Olszamowice station is not a\u00a0passenger stop, it plays an important role in\u00a0rail traffic. Its modernization allows to\u00a0increase the capacity of the CMK, on\u00a0one of the busiest railway lines in\u00a0the country.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":44145,"parent":0,"template":"","realizations_category":[674],"realizations_type":[],"voidvoideship":[],"country":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nCMK Olszamowice -
