Thanks to\u00a0the modernization and expansion of the Planetarium in\u00a0Chorz\u00f3w, the facility with a\u00a0total area of 7,084 m2 has been enlarged by\u00a03,200 m2 of usable area. Four parts of the facility for different purposes and completely different structures were modernized: the Planetarium, the Observatory, the auxiliary building and the small observatory (parts A, B, C\u00a0and F). The former and newly created part of the planetarium (part D and E) were connected by\u00a0a\u00a0panoramic elevator, located at\u00a0the western wall of the clock courtyard. A\u00a0significant area of the newly created part of the facility is below ground level and was made in\u00a0reinforced concrete technology. The added part of the building was connected to\u00a0the existing underground corridors, and the former courtyard of the Planetarium was transformed into a\u00a0new exhibition hall, on\u00a0the roof of which there is a\u00a0reconstructed sundial.<\/p>\n

\nThe modernization of the Planetarium in\u00a0Chorz\u00f3w was awarded the title of Modernization of the Year 2023 in\u00a0the 27. edition of the Modernization of the Year \u2013 Construction of the 21st Century competition.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":134187,"parent":0,"template":"","realizations_category":[675,680],"realizations_type":[],"voidvoideship":[],"country":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nPlanetarium in Chorz\u00f3w -
