The subject of the work was the construction of a\u00a0scientific and didactic facility for the Faculty of Chemistry of the Adam Mickiewicz University in\u00a0Morask. The building contains m.in.\u00a0A\u00a0didactic complex with four lecture halls, student laboratories, seminar rooms, a\u00a0library and an archive. Separate wings were reserved for scientific blocks for scientific staff, along with specialized laboratories. The facility consists of 7 segments connected with each other by\u00a0connectors and a\u00a0communication gallery. A\u00a0characteristic element of the building are the glazed surfaces of the fa\u00e7ade in\u00a0the internal courtyards and intimate patios, guaranteeing access to\u00a0the outdoor space. Inside the building there is a\u00a0spacious open hall, whose hallmark is a\u00a0red wall, and stairs with wooden cladding. The project received the second degree award in\u00a0the category \u201cScience and Education Buildings\u201d in\u00a0the \u201cConstruction of the Year 2012\u201d competition. The usable area of the building is 20 thousand. m2.
