As\u00a0part of the contract worth nearly PLN 587 million, Budimex will reconstruct tracks with a\u00a0total length of 38.3 km, including the subgrade, and will build 118 turnouts. Part of the task is also the construction of 5 platforms (including 2 options); A\u00a0total of 2600 linear meters of edge (400 meters as\u00a0an option) adapted to\u00a0the needs of the disabled together with full infrastructure and reconstruction of the overhead contact line and the network and lines with railway power equipment, as\u00a0well as\u00a0sanitary infrastructure, rainwater drainage and teletechnical networks. A\u00a0signal box building was also built with new equipment at\u00a0the E\u0142k station. In\u00a0addition, according to\u00a0the contract, the construction of 4 railway viaducts, a\u00a0road viaduct and a\u00a0railway bridge is planned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nAt the railway station in\u00a0E\u0142k, which is being modernised by\u00a0Budimex, the first 3D printed stairs in\u00a0Poland were built. The concrete structure mounted on\u00a0the slope, weighing nearly two tons, was built in\u00a0the Netherlands and will serve railway employees.
