As\u00a0part of the consortium, Budimex carried out works on\u00a0the section of the E-20 line from km 149,000 to\u00a0km 172,000, including the Krzewie \u2013 K\u0142odawa, K\u0142odawa \u2013 Zamk\u00f3w and Bar\u0142ogi \u2013 Ko\u0142o routes, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the K\u0142odawa station, the Zamk\u00f3w branch station and the Bar\u0142ogi station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nAs part of the reconstruction, Budimex dismantled the tracks, strengthened the subgrade and built a\u00a0new surface, as\u00a0well as\u00a0built a\u00a0new overhead contact line and two new signal boxes \u2013 in\u00a0Kutno and Bar\u0142ogi. A\u00a0new computer rail traffic control system has been launched at\u00a0the K\u0142odawa and Bar\u0142ogi stations. The implementation of works on\u00a0the Zamk\u00f3w \u2013 LCS Kutno border section required the introduction of a\u00a0complete closure of the line, and rail traffic was carried out along a\u00a0detour route. In\u00a0addition, replacement bus transport was introduced for the duration of the works and the closure of the line. Once all works on\u00a0railway line 3 are completed, traffic can be\u00a0carried out at\u00a0a\u00a0speed of 160 km\/h for passenger trains and 120 km\/h for freight trains.
