As\u00a0part of the contract for the reconstruction of track systems with accompanying infrastructure on\u00a0the E-59 railway line on\u00a0the Rokietnica \u2013 Wronki section, i.e. a\u00a035.14 km long section, which is part of the Pozna\u0144 G\u0142\u00f3wny \u2013 Szczecin G\u0142\u00f3wny railway line, the modernisation covered the track surface, overhead contact line, power supply, repair and modernisation of engineering structures, as\u00a0well as\u00a0the reconstruction of platforms, rail-road crossings and the construction of new drainage. Budimex rebuilt 77 km of railway track, 74 km of overhead contact line, 2 railway stations \u2013 Szamotu\u0142y and Wronki, 3 stops \u2013 Pami\u0105tkowo, Babor\u00f3wko and P\u0119ckowo, as\u00a0well as\u00a010 platforms with small architecture and adapting them to\u00a0the needs of people with reduced mobility. The general contractor also made 2 crossings under the tracks, Szamotu\u0142y and Wronki. 18 railway and road bridges and viaducts and 19 rail-road crossings were modernized. Budimex carried out track works with new traction equipment, using its own machinery. The contract also included the construction of a\u00a0modern, technically advanced bridge over the Warta River in\u00a0Wronki, with a\u00a0length of 193 m. The Rokietnica-Wronki section is another advanced project of strategic importance for the entire national rail transport. The E-59 line is part of the Trans-European Transport Network. The implementation of this investment was primarily aimed at\u00a0increasing the speed of passenger traffic to\u00a0160 km per hour, increasing safety at\u00a0road and rail intersections, reducing the costs of operation and maintenance of railway infrastructure, and above all, increasing the attractiveness of the transport offer for passengers by\u00a0shortening travel time, increasing travel comfort and eliminating architectural barriers for people with reduced mobility.<\/p><\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":117547,"parent":0,"template":"","realizations_category":[674],"realizations_type":[],"voidvoideship":[],"country":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nRailway line E59 Rokietnica -
