The investment was made in\u00a0trenchless technology using the microtunneling method. The pipeline laying technology used is the safest trenchless method for both the environment and the employees themselves. It also allows you to\u00a0minimize the amount of work carried out on\u00a0the surface of the site, and thus reduce traffic difficulties. Pipeline laying is controlled remotely, which allows to\u00a0reduce the number of people in\u00a0the excavation while maintaining full precision. In\u00a0addition, the time needed to\u00a0complete it is shorter than in\u00a0the case of work carried out using traditional methods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nBudimex completed two stages of the investment, including the Vistula Collector \u2013 Stage II\u00a0\u2013 located at\u00a0a\u00a0depth of 6 m to\u00a015 m along Wybrze\u017ce Gdy\u0144skie Street, from the connection chamber with the Wened\u00f3w storm water collector to\u00a0the connection chamber with the Biela\u0144ski collector. The collector with a\u00a0length of about 5.5 km and a\u00a0diameter of 3.2 m will be\u00a0able to\u00a0accommodate approx. 40,000 m of rainwater.<br \/>\nThe Vistula Collector \u2013 Stage III is a\u00a0continuation of Stage II\u00a0from the connection chamber with the Biela\u0144ski Collector to\u00a0the \u201cFarysa\u201d Plant together with the \u201cWi\u015blana\u201d pumping station with a\u00a0length of 1.2 km and a\u00a0diameter of 3.2 m and pressure pipes. The target length of the tunnel is 9.5 km, the diameter of the cutting disc is 3.8 m, and the drilling speed is 14 m\/day.
