We\u00a0are implementing a\u00a0project (EPC) for the construction of a\u00a0CHP plant in\u00a0Vilnius, generating energy from waste incineration. The plant will be\u00a0equipped with a\u00a0waste-fired boiler (municipal and RDF) powering an 18.8 MWe turbine. We\u00a0have delivered and will launch a\u00a072.7 MWe turbine, powered by\u00a0two biomass-fired boilers. We\u00a0will build the waste boiler in\u00a0a\u00a0consortium with Steinmueller Babcock Environment GmbH and UAB Kauno Dujotiekio Statyba. According to\u00a0the contract, a\u00a0complete plant for the production of energy from waste incineration will be\u00a0built, including auxiliary equipment and a\u00a0turbine island along with power evacuation in\u00a0a\u00a0biomass-fired plant. The electrical capacity of the new CHP plant is approx. 91.5 MWe and 227 MWt. The CHP plant has been designed taking into account the heat demand of the Lithuanian capital and will be\u00a0able to\u00a0meet 20% of the heat demand on\u00a0the coldest days and about 40% of all the heat that Vilnius needs throughout the year. Heat energy from the cogeneration unit under construction will be\u00a0supplied to\u00a0the municipal heating network, and the generated electricity will be\u00a0supplied to\u00a0the 110 kV network of the transmission network operator.<\/p>\n
