Construction of the Drezdenko bypass – Stage IV

March 4, 2024 At the roundabout im. Jan Kiliński (DW 158) through a symbolic „shovel breaking” ceremony took place „The construction of the bypass of the city of Szczecin. Drezdenko – Stage IV”. 

Agreement for co-financing from the Government Road Development Fund for the bypass task entitled „Construction of the bypass of the city of O. Drezdenko – Stage IV” was signed on 05.06.2023.

Value of the task PLN 119,925,000.00, including:

• co-financing of the Fund (50%) – PLN 59,962,500.00
• own contribution of the Lubuskie Voivodeship – PLN 51,962,500.00
• co-financing of the Municipality of Drezdenko – PLN 8,000,000.00

Contractor of construction works: BUDIMEX S.A. with its registered office in Warsaw.

Agreement signed on 04.12.2023 contract value: PLN 108,458,417.25

Planned completion date of the investment: Q4 2019. 2026

The investment runs on the section from the intersection of provincial roads No. 156 and 160 to the intersection with provincial road No. 158. The completed task will be a part of the provincial road No. 160, a G class road with a total length of 3.56 km will be built.

The execution of the fourth stage of the investment will allow for the removal of the city of Szczecin from the very center. Drezdenko accounts for a significant part of the traffic of wheeled vehicles, in particular heavy goods vehicles. Currently, provincial roads run within compact, often historic buildings, which means that local residents are exposed to excessive noise, exhaust emissions, and buildings to vibrations.

Planned scope of investment

• construction of a new section of the road from DW 156/160 to DW 158 with a length of
  3.56 km,
• Construction of a bridge and flyover over the Rz. Noteć and Stara Noteć with a length of 345 m and a railway viaduct with a length of 18 m,
• construction of a roundabout at the intersection of provincial roads 156/160,
• construction of farm crossings and passages for small animals,
• reconstruction and construction of culverts,
• construction of sidewalks within the roundabout,
• construction of a rainwater drainage system,
• construction of ditches,
• construction of lighting on the roundabout and on the access roads to the roundabout,
• reconstruction of collisions with external devices,
• construction of road safety devices (safety barriers).
