When building the tram connection with Wilanów, which is very important for improving the quality of life of Warsaw residents, we wanted to balance the impact of the investment on its immediate surroundings. We decided that in addition to compensatory plantings, we would green the tram route and the surrounding districts by planting 400 additional trees. This is how the “Green Stop” campaign was created to responsibly enrich the ecosystem. We consulted the choice of species with a dendrologist, and we invited housing communities and cooperatives from Mokotów and Wilanów to join the initiative.

In the first, spring edition, we received 25 applications. We donated 130 seedlings to 14 entities that came to us with location proposals. We also met with the local community during 3 neighborhood picnics, which were visited by over 500 people.
