Budimex and Strabag will complete the construction of A1

On 30 September 2014, the Łódź Branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways signed an agreement with the consortium of Budimex (leader, 99% of shares) and Strabag for the continuation of the design and construction of the A1 motorway Stryków – Tuszyn junction. It has a net value of PLN 265.9 million. The scope of the investment includes the completion of design and construction works on a 13.2-kilometer section of the motorway from Kalina to the Tuszyn junction. The following remains to be done:

• 13 engineering structures,
• earthworks,
• construction of the road structure,
• laying a concrete surface.

The works should be completed within 22 months from the date of conclusion of the contract.
