Budimex – a partner of the European Forum in Karpacz – will be present at the following discussion panels:
1. Employee Capital Plans (PPK) as a benefit – opportunities and challenges – 8 September at 4.30 p.m.
Thinking about employee remuneration only through the prism of salary is an anachronism. Employees’ needs are changing, and with them benefits are being added to the benefits offer that respond to them. One of them is the Employee Capital Plans, which this year will cover another 3.7 million employees in Poland. The Lewiatan Confederation has prepared a report in which it attempts to determine the potential of long-term savings programs as a non-wage benefit. What is the future of the ECP? Has the coronavirus pandemic affected the awareness of Poles in the context of financial security and the need to save?
Sonia Buncholtz, PhD – expert of the Lewiatan Confederation – (presentation of the report)
Bartosz Marczuk, Vice-President of PFR
Robert Zapotoczny – President, PPK Portal (moderation)
Marlena Maląg – Minister of Labour and Social Policy
Cezary Mączka – Member of the Management Board of Budimex
Gertruda Uścińska – President of ZUS
2. Different faces of Polish exporters – September 9 at 10:45 a.m.
From IT to FMCG, Polish exports have many faces. Tech giants and software houses can boast numerous success stories and implementations for large international corporations. On the other hand, many FMCG chains have introduced the principle of supporting Polish producers from the food industry into their growth and expansion policy. What are the opportunities, but also threats for Polish exporters? What can exporters in different industries learn from each other?
Ryszard Florek, President of the Management Board / Owner, FAKRO Sp. z o.o., Poland
Piotr Rogowski, Member of the Board, Lidl Poland, Poland
Krzysztof Mazur, Undersecretary of State, Ministry of Development, Poland
Artur Popko, Vice-President of the Management Board, Budimex S.A., Poland
Janusz Władyczak, President of the Management Board, KUKE, Poland
3. Waste incineration and its role in waste management in Poland – 9 September, 11:45-12:45
Waste management in Poland is moving towards the widest possible recovery of raw materials or energy, so that waste is not a problem, but rather a sought-after and valuable commodity. Energy recovery from waste will always be an integral part of the waste management system, as it enables the management of those fractions that cannot be recovered and should not be landfilled, but have a high energy value. Over the next 6 years, it will become clear how waste management in Poland will develop and what role incineration will play in it.
