Budimex brand is the strongest in the construction industry

In this year’s Top Brand ranking, the leader of the Polish sector was ahead of the competition in terms of communication and marketing activities. This is another time when the company took first place in the ranking prepared by the Press magazine and the Institute of Media Monitoring.

In the last edition of the Top Brand project, Budimex scored 498,044 points in the brand strength category, taking first place in the construction sector ranking. Further positions were taken by Mirbud (326,750 points), Dom Development (237,858 points), Develia (208,567 points) and Echo Investment (190,537 points).

The company’s success in the ranking of media activities carried out in 2023 was due to over 40,000 publications about Budimex in traditional, online and social media. In the audited period, the press paid particular attention to information about the conclusion of contracts for the construction of Rail Baltica and the offshore terminal in Świnoujście, the completion of the pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw, and the opening of new electric vehicle charging stations by Budimex Mobility. Journalists were also eager to comment on the company’s entry into the MSCI Poland index, record financial results and diversification of the Budimex Group’s business activities. The largest number of publications was in August last year, and over 60 percent of all materials concerned only the activities undertaken by the company.

The Top Brand ranking is the largest annual media analysis of 500 companies operating in 50 industries in Poland. This year’s edition is the seventeenth in the history of the survey. The methodology is based on the comparison of indicators for all types of mentions, taking into account the specificity of the press, web portals and social media.
