Budimex has signed a contract for the reconstruction of the provincial road No. 392 Żelazno – Stronie Śląskie

Budimex has signed an agreement with the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Service in Wrocław for the implementation of the task of rebuilding and modernising the provincial road No. 392 on the Żelazno – Stronie Śląskie section. The investment is of key importance for improving safety and transport accessibility in the southern part of Lower Silesia. The value of the contract is PLN 60.6 million gross, and completion is planned for the beginning of 2028.

Provincial road No. 392 runs through areas that were partially destroyed as a result of the flood that hit the region in September 2024. The implementation of the investment is an important element of the reconstruction of road infrastructure and the restoration of full functionality of transport links in the region.

The scope of the investment includes a comprehensive demolition of the existing roadway and pavement structure and the construction of a new surface in the standard applicable to voivodeship roads. The plan is to modernise the pedestrian infrastructure, build safe pedestrian crossings, carry out full drainage of the road lane, reconstruct bridges and culverts, as well as implement new signage and install elements improving road safety.

Additional scope of work for Budimex

In parallel with the road investment, works related to the expansion of the underground infrastructure will be carried out. Under the agreement between the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Service in Wrocław and the Lądek-Zdrój Commune, the scope of the task also includes the construction of a sanitary sewerage system and a water supply network. For the implementation of this stage, Budimex signed a separate agreement with the Municipality of Lądek-Zdrój with a gross value of PLN 10 million.

Another investment in Stronie Śląski

The reconstruction of voivodeship road No. 392 is another project of Budimex carried out in Stronie Śląskie. In December 2025, the company commissioned a new bridge in Stronie Śląskie, which replaced the crossing destroyed by the flood in September 2024. The facility was made available to drivers four months before the planned completion date. This investment has significantly improved the local transport system and the resilience of infrastructure to extreme weather events.
