November 5, 2025 Budimex has opened the Budimex Zone at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Bialystok University of Technology – a space that is to inspire students to learn, relax and develop professionally. This is the second such zone in Poland, created to support young talents and promote education in the construction industry.

The Budimex Zone at Bialystok University of Technology is a functional and friendly space for learning, relaxation and meetings, conducive to building an academic community. The place is to serve students as a relaxation and regeneration zone,
and at the same time inspire to develop their passion, participate in internship programs and encourage them to tie their future to Budimex. The project is part of the university’s cooperation with the company, which was launched in 2022 – the agreement includes joint research, scientific publications, as well as educational and promotional activities as part of the Budimex Internship Program.

The Budimex Zone is a symbol of the company’s commitment to the development of young talents and the creation of a friendly academic environment. The modern, ergonomic interior is conducive to learning and integration, and its grand opening on 5 November brought together m.in Rector of the University of Technology, Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Jacek Żmojda, and Paweł Janicki, Regional Director of Budimex SA, who emphasized the importance of cooperation and relationships in building a strong academic community.

At Budimex, we believe that the true value of an investment lies not only in the construction, but in what is created between people – trust, cooperation and shared values. That is why, with the same passion with which we carry out construction projects, we also invest in the education and development of young talents. Budimex Zones are a place that inspires learning and professional development, showing students how fascinating and full of opportunities the construction industry is. – said Paweł Janicki from Budimex.

“Bialystok University of Technology is a place of learning, but also a space for development and building relationships. We want students to feel that the university inspires, supports and gives energy to act. Cooperation with companies such as Budimex combines the world of science with practice and supports the development of young people in the construction industry. The zone we are opening today was created with the comfort and needs of our students in mind ,” said Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology.

The creation of the Budimex Zone at Bialystok University of Technology is another step in consistent support for Polish academic education. In September 2025, the company launched a similar space at the Stanisław Noakowski Technical School of Architecture and Construction in Warsaw, continuing to invest in the education and development of future engineers.

Budimex has been involved in projects supporting universities and technical schools for years – it has signed 27 cooperation agreements with universities and strategic partnerships with 47 schools throughout Poland. These activities confirm the company’s long-term commitment to the development of professional competences of the young generation and strengthening the potential of Polish technical education.
